I love how Star Trek took advantage of every talent of its actors. Singing, dancing, Brent's skill as a character actor. Even Stewart's background as a Shakespearean.
I loved this from Nemesis. Data sorta seemed awkward, as if he was trying to figure out the tune and how to sing it, like he didn't have the soul or feeling down. And then all of a sudden, he caught his swing and settled into it just fine, accompanied by the band, and smiles all around. I loved that scene.
Just watched this movie for the first time in years and immediately stopped the flick and added this song to my acoustic set. There seems to be an endless pool of great classic songs we forget about. What a fun tune. Folks will dig this one for sure. It made me happy to hear it.
I can just imagine Will and Deanna's wedding, instead of doing the cut off during the song to the next part of the movie, him and her dancing while Data and the band play the song
knowing Data and all of his stored memories officially died in canon, i cant listen to this. who knew the most heartbteaking song of all time sounded like this...
Thank you Commander Data, .. . Brent Spinner will be forever remembered as an Android with the 'human heart', he strives to be human with his utmost sacrifice of giving up his life for his Cap. - Jean-Luc. (in the movie Nemesis 2002). Thank you for being funny, outrageously naive, being child-like, and a true friend. - - as human I try to learn from you, Season 1 Episode 10- finally gives you a Pitch Perfect send-off, goodbye Commander Data, you will always be remembered,. Blue skies ,
I wish he'd do a duet with Robert Picardo. The Doctor and Data doing a duet would be a dream come true.

I imagine Riker playing the trombone.
Worf: Romulan Ale should be illegal.
Lt Data : '' a butterfly that lives forever is not a real butterfly '''
