If you are into fishing, hunting, camping and just being outdoors, then you know how wonderful Yeti coolers are! Nothing can come close to the performance of our beloved Yeti coolers. But if you know that about Yeti, then you also know that those rubber lid latches don’t have the infinite life that the coolers have. The lid latches are made of rubber and that plays an intricate role in the Yeti cooler design because those rubber latches create and airtight seal that ensures your Yeti holds ice for days! No this is not a Yeti Cooler review video; this is a Yeti latch replacement video.
If your Yeti cooler lid latch is broken, don't worry! In this video, we'll show you how to easily replace your Yeti Tundra lid latch.
In this video, Captain Pedro is going to show you how to replace Yeti cooler lid latches and get you and your Yeti back on the road again! Captain Pedro installs his Yeti latch kit, which comes in a 2 pack from Yeti, and shows you step by step how to replace yeti lid latches and how to fix Yeti latch once and for all.
If you do not need to replace your lid latches, maybe you want to customize your Yeti with some of the aftermarket colorful lid latches. Either way, whether you need to replace existing lid latches or you want to learn so you can customize your Yeti cooler, this video is for you. You will easily be able to replace your lid latches in minutes.

Nice. How do you think the aftermarket are compared to OEM latches? I like the idea of different colors.
I have 3 yetis with the aftermarket ones and 2 with the black yeti ones and the aftermarket ones are holding up but I can tell that they are less quality compared to the yeti ones but I also like that I could change the colors and they were super cheap. I ordered them from Amazon.
I was able to find a light blue one that matches the hull color of our boat.
@@pescatarianfishing That’s the exact thought I had! Our boat is a Scout with their Crystal Blue hull. It has a yeti on a slider and would be cool to match the latches to the boat!
@KM.130 even if they don’t last as long as the yeti ones they are so cheap to purchase and it looks so nice when it matches the boat.
Below is the link to the ones I ordered from Amazon.

@@pescatarianfishing thank you
While the splines on the pin are still in the hole, do not twist the pin. You’ll wallow out the holes. Those splines are there for a reason…to retain the pin by friction, and to keep the pin from spinning.
Thank you very much for the tip! Makes perfect sense!
