Hi Sherralin, Just as I was getting to recognise your yellow Volvo on the A20 near limoges, you go and change it for a white and blue Scania ( just like the other 28 million Scania's in France). That's a nice looking truck. I'd really like to know what you think of the truck from a real world driver's perspective, especially the V8 engine. Also, what sort of mileage or kilometres has it done, what interior and dash has it got and does it have predictive and adaptive cruise control, those sort of things.

I will do a walk through once I’ve settled in it after my holiday.
But I can tell you, after owning and driving Scania \8/ for more years than I care to remember, they are work horses that do exactly what you think they do. The same speed up & down hills, cruising at 90kmh. They don’t race off the blocks but they don’t need to, they are geared for pulling and that’s what they do.
I’d always prefer a manual gearbox but I’m old school and a control freak 😂😂
They are a brilliant piece of equipment. 😁

Hi Sherralin, I not a 16 plate Scania a little old for euro work ??? We dont operate that old on UK work lol What was the idea of moving on a 12 mths old Iveco, when you still have a 8 year old Scania, The running gear on an Iveco will outlast Any Scania, As for DAFs we have one with 1.5 millon on the clock all its had is a clutch at 1m turbo at 1.4 m Engine / Box / Axle / Brake Disc never been touched, Show me any Scania that would out last that? There is Not One lol, Scania very good to keep the workshop busy , plus 40K overpriced, and now they are tucked up with MAN so only going One Way now for sure, Why did Sammy Williams fit Cummins engines / Fuller Boxs to his Scanias i wonder ? ( something for the workshop to do??? )
