Oh , thankyou and lots of love for the vdo , I am a Bobby brown fan too , I have used it's foundation , it's a quality unparallel ,but didn't buy the lipstick although I would love to . Raspberry shade will be my first choice because no brand is having this shade now . The red was very very nice .

It’s a visual treat to watch these swatches! Ma’am one query. Do you think that the Color Raspberry is similar to MAC powder Kiss : Burning love and is burnt Cherry similar to ‘ Mac Carnivorous’? Actually these lipsticks cost a fortune and I already have the Mac ones. I would love to have them , but if the shades turn out to be similar then it would be a total waste! Kindly suggest if possible? If you have those Mac shades can you say whether they are similar or not? Would be really helpful…

Is the red carpet shade more like WARM deeper red with a little BROWN ? I generally tend to avoid Reds with brown tone

Hi what a timing of the video. I got mine in shade Mauve over, available where I live(canada). These are costly lipsticks, on boxing day sale (30% off) it still costed me Inr 2160 + taxes. But I guess it's worth it if you want to splurge
Hey Aparna, thanks for doing this video. My first purchase from bobbi brown was from their crushed lipstick collection and I didn't like them a bit. It was more like rubbing camlin color crayons on the lips... that really put me off and I never tried BB products again, despite all the offers on nykaa. Am a Mac fan for life but after watching this video, I do feel like trying this luxe range, provided, I get a good deal 😀
I have only a single high end lipstick. Ruby woo from Mac!! And fortunately it looks good and all so i don't have to regret. But I am never buying another. Happy with all my loreals and lakmes and Kay beauties. . Such a waste of money.
@@priyak7384 well, we all have our choices and opinions. U find high end lipsticks a waste of money. Someone else who doesn't use lipsticks at all, will find your choice brands or even the cheapest of brand as waste of money. So respect others' choice and live-let live.

I was so close to buying Razzberry and Red carpet but wanted someone to review before I buy. Razzberry is so so gorgeous. I’m drooling over it seeing it in your video! I will definitely get Razzb and Red if Nykaa gives a B1G1 offer next time. For me, the packaging is very unattractive. They could have made a better job for this price point. You said you haven't tested the twelve hour claim but that the lipstick lasts "a really long time", which did not give me the idea of how long it actually does last. I also would have loved to know if it transfers enough to need touch up after meals or if it's staying power is good enough to last through the office day.
I'd love to hear from you about these two things if you could let me know! I think it's important to know if all the claims the lipstick makes are true or not and you're a absolutely trusty source for me!

Though I still wonder if these are worth the price even with 1 on 1 free? I am sure there would be lipsticks in the affordable range with this formula. I mean is there anything exceptional that makes them actually worth it?

Heyyyy. I used a couple of crushed liquid lipsticks, and they are amazing! They do transfer but the formula is very good. I like juicy date because it feels to me like ‘My lips but better’ and gives a very nice light tint to it even when I’m not wearing any makeup or with just a sunscreen. I’m a very nude lipstick kind of a person, so juicy date suits me. Plus, I have not been able to find the same shade in some other brand. (I really wish I could because it’s pricey).
I, too, purchased it on 1+1 free offer on Nykaa sale, it’s totally worth it. But I made the mistake of getting 2 shades from the range, out of which I did not like the 2nd shade.
Other brand that you can try out is Kiro beauty, it’s liquid lipsticks are good(don’t go in for matte ones, semi mattes are good). They are very hydrating and keep the lips moisturised. Get the new lip butters that they have launched. I tried them and they are nice. They feel more like lip balms on lips. Usually, they have some offers going on like 1+1 or 2+2, which are nice. So you can try that brand when it has those offers. But what I feel is that some colours shown on the website won’t be like they way they are represented. So it’s better to do your own research while selecting the colors. And I also like this brand because they are cruelty free and as well as use less chemicals.
Oh btw, my skin shade is olive colour. Im neither warm or cool toned. Also, I have specks of yellow in my skin(it’s very pale).

Btw have you tried the nyx xxl lingerie range? I heard great reviews about it and that its long lasting like fhe Maybelline superstay ink... I somehow don't like the Maybelline one's cz of the stickiness... That really bothers me...

I haven’t tried the new nyx lipsticks of that range, but I had one of the earlier versions. When they did not have xxl attached to the name. They were okay but I really don’t know about this new ranges formulation. I hope they have not just repacked the earlier ones into this new packaging.
I have used their creme matte lipsticks and they are amazing. My favourite shades are Cannes and Rome in that range though.
Also, I used to use a lot of Lakmés, Maybellines, L’Oréal’s and Nykaa lipsticks way back before the pandemic. But all of them made my lips dark and ever since I stopped wearing them, my lips have become pink again. So, I googled why it happened and all, and I ultimately, ended up on an article that said that these brands had a lot of lead(I freaked out, because I used to use them everyday, and that was the reason I switched to chemical free/high end brands).
You should also try out Ruby organics. I like their blushes, lipsticks and foundation. The lipsticks are really moisturising, and the blushes are so much better than those high end ones. What I did not like from that brand are its kajals and mascara. The Kajal smudges a lot and does not stay for a very long period of time. And mascara is just like your everyday mascara from any brand.
And they are really nice. I sent them a couple of my photos on Instagram to figure out which foundation would suit me, and they told me the exact shade which I later ordered. I usually go in for no makeup makeup look, and the foundation is great for that! And if you use a primer before it and a setting spray after makeup, it will last and look good! Plus, there are no nasties in their products, so no skin damage. Also I absolutely love their blush in the shade dusty pink. And they have sales sometimes (I think they might have one around Holi) and they do have offers on combo these days. You can try the brand out. Also, I did try their lip oils but I wasn’t that impressed. So they can be skipped too!
Also, if you are looking for hydrating lip balms (quality comparable to Sephora’s), you can try lip glosses from Tint cosmetics. They really use the basic ingredients and I am in love with them! They helped me get through these harsh winters without chapping my lips. And they are reasonably priced too(wait for sales, they might have offers during Holi). But the only flaw that I found with the lip balms was that colours on the lips were not that prominent.

I usually wear a Bb cream and kajal/eyeliner as a daily look... Nothing more as makeup... I am not sure if this range has that....
@@shailydodeja3266 hey, none of the brands have BB creams, I used the L’Oréal one and it was good. It did suit my skin tone but left an orange cast once removed. I wonder why.
For kajals, try kiro’s kajals and eyeliners. They are good. They are smudge proof.
