if there is one thing that ticks me off about this is about every 10 strokes of the pen it usually just doesn't calculate one, and it's easy to put you out of your rythm but it's still such a great tablet for the price.
Yeah I feel like I've had that happen, I also had to disable the 2 buttons on the pen because I would accidentally click them and it would ruin my flow

Why didnt you just use a USB-C data cable and just plug it straight to the laptop ?

I have an older Macbook Pro (2012) which has no USB-C ports, no HDMI, only regular USB and one Thunderbolt port. I tried my HDMI-to-Thunderbolt adapter which works perfectly for connecting my laptop to my TV, but it would not work to connect my Artist 13 Pro to my laptop. I get "no signal." Can I use a hub with an HDMI port to a regular USB port?
Yeah if you can find a hub that has usb ports on it that plugs into your laptop via a usb as well, I dont see why that wouldnt work
@@vegangymleader5125 Okay, thanks. I just wasn't sure older USB could transmit video data. Any idea why the Thunderbolt port won't work with the adapter?
@@deoccultist They started releasing USBs that are blue inside back in 2013, they are called USB 3.0, coincidentally the one on the hub in my video is the blue 3.0, maybe that is what is required for the tablet to work and maybe thats why the thunderbolt port wont work?
It looks like those thunderbolt adapters should have the USB 3.1 ports on it so Im not sure why it wont work, those look like really nice adapters
Stupid question, is a computer necessary for the tablet to work? Or can I do it's own thing without one. New to this whole thing
No question is a stupid question! Yes, it will need to be plugged into a computer.
Are you still drawing on this 2 years later? How has it held up?
We've got an Acer windows 11 operating system and I'm not sure how to make the tablet the main display , any suggestions or help
I have an iPad and I'm considering getting this. I've been drawing in procreate for 2 years now, but people have said that is better than this. While I'm considering this, I don't wanna waste my money. What should I do?
I absolutely love this tablet, although I personally haven't used anything else, I have watched videos comparing different tablets and I feel like it just comes down to personal preference, the screen on this tablet is a little rougher to draw on than an iPad or other tablets with a sleek glossy feel to the screen, the XP-PEN's tablet screen has a texture to it, that may be something to consider. I hope that helps!

Is the rotation setting the orientation for left handed?
In the XP-Pen settings you are able to toggle right or left mode for rotation
is it still worth buying, or is some other product better in the same price bracket?

Did full set up but still the driver says there is no device connected and the stylus will not respond…. Please help 😫
maybe the red usb cable needs to be connected to your plug?

@@TheMontegoEffect check if you have your cables plugged in correctly one is labelled red and I had my conneced up wrong and then I switched cables over and it worked. I hope that helps!
I tried it on pc it says no signal but when connecting to a laptop its working right of the bat..
That is strange! The only thing I could possibly think of, if you are seeing the 'no signal' icon is that the tablet may not be plugged in correctly or not plugged in all the way. Also possibly go into your computer's display settings and adjust your primary and secondary displays, you will need to make the display tablet your primary display. I hope this helps!
