I can clearly see what Gremory’s orange spheres do, but what’s the difference between the purple and green ones? Is there a larger blast radius? Does one mess with your controls?
On closer examination, the purple spheres seem to orbit at a closer distance, making standing between them and her impossible. I’ve been wondering this since the first game, probably should play them at some point :-P

man, the distance the game sends you back when you die to a boss is really really unfun.
