I used 180 grams (65 lb) cardstock, but for these beads you can actually use any type of paper

Fatema, I use 180 grams (65 lb) cardstock. I buy uncut and I cut the strips with a manual paper shredder

Francesca, the tape is called floral tape (cinta floral)...it is a special tape used for flowers
