  • A 48 hours layover in Kuala Lumpur is plenty of time for a mini adventure. Join Danny Chen, the author of Train2e@t, in this episode as he discovers some of Kuala Lumpur good old charm.
    Spend the quite afternoon enjoying English Afternoon Tea with a Malaysian twist at the Orchid Conservatory of The Majestic Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
    A short walk from the hotel, discover some of the cities oldest building including Kuala Lumpur Railway Station & the National Mosque.
    Take a train to Bandaraya station and explore the busy street of Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman and stop for dinner at the Coliseum Cafe, one of the oldest serving restaurant in Kuala Lumpur.
    For supper, catch a train to Kampung Baru station and try out one of the famous Nasi Lemak in town at Nasi Lemak Antarabangsa.
    In the morning, spend a few hours and visited the exhibits of Islamic arts throughout history at the Islamic Art Museum.

    Enjoyed this video very much. The presenter being local, with a local English accent, and speaking in Malay in some instances gave the episode a unique authentic air and as part of an international audience it made the video much more engaging for me. I'm thinking of visiting Malaysia and I've been scanning through travel volgs on UA-cam and I have to say that this video is one of the few good ones.

    Got no problems at all with Danny's presentation - perfectly well done and quite appealing local guide, not a westernised wannabee version. Keep it up, Danny.

    I personally think d video is great, casual n hv Malaysian taste of it. Definitely international enuff... But I do agree to hv English subtitles to cater wider audience.

    i think i have to agree with some of the commentators here. I think might be MAS need to find someone who is more appealing to the International audiences. MAS definitely got a lot more to learn in terms of marketing & campaign...

    MH if you're doing this for the international audience you should provide translations and someone with a more international accent. i did enjoy the video and the host as a malaysian but am not sure if it's going to work for the more diverse viewers one would expect to market this to.
