Darjeeling is over populated and dirty. They shamelessly dump garbage along the mountain slopse. Couldnt believe it . They need to regulate random dumping of garbage and maintain the cleanliness of the place. Take a leaf out of how they maintain Ooty and Southern hill stations. Why cant the WB government put out boards as warnings and start fining litter bugs. Also garbage collection and disposal needs to be organized much much more. BTW your vide os very helpful. You speak well. Deserve more views.
Just don't talk crap there are few places which may be dirty as lot of Indian towns are in some parts Darjeeling has lots to offer the list is long it has the best backdrop than any other hill station of an Himalayan range it's got great food a beautiful chowrasta and immense nostalgic colonial charm which lot don't understand I studied there from childhood so don't degrade without knowing all places have pro and cons Darjeeling no exception
Darjeeling is emotion its nostalgic its historic its charming Gangtok is good in its own way but it doesn't have the view of kanchanjunga and that colonial charm of Darjeeling although there numerous sites in sikkim which are breathtaking making Gangtok the base.
