To be honest, I always believe that the Shakyamuni Buddha will protect me in my entire lifetime, I am a very loyal Buddhist, I always learn the Buddhist teaching when I have free time.
I really fascinated with the melody of this version. It is almost similar to ancient Malay and Hindu music culture. And since the mantra is really tied to Hindu gods especially Shiva and Vishnu; it really surprised me too.
I think there is only one sad-dharma, and buddhist and hindus approach it differently since buddhism is more focused on enligtenment and wisdom, hence on one hand buddhism does not deny the feats of Shiva, Vishnu, etc., but treat them as gateways (roles) towards sad-dharma. So, they are not simply as gods, but configuration of gateways. Like: Buddhism - Shiva, Vishnu, they are means of gateways, what they've done does not matter that much, it's the Great Compassion and the enlightenment behind them that matters, the gateway in general is avalokiteśvara bodhisattva/sad-dharma, the destination is enlightenment, buddhahood, nirvana etc. Hindunism - Shiva, Vishnu, they are manifestation of sad-dharma in different roles, what they've done are not only stories but also the true history, and the destination is moksha, oneness etc. So, I don't think there's only one correct interpretation of sad-dharma, right?
@@junjieli1514 For us Buddhists, there is not onet yet one Dharma. Forms is Void, non form is void, void void. Form arises from Non Form and so therefore all the Dharmas arise from non-form. Thus all Dharmas in the end are Buddha Dharma as claimed in Vajracchedika Sutra. There are three important facets of Buddhism- Bodhi, Compassion and Upaya. Buddhas are constantly using these faculties to unveil the truth that goes beyond form and appearances yet may have form and appearances. Another aspect of absolute of Tathata is the three bodies of experience, the Dharmakaya (Dharma body), the Sambhogakaya (the together-consuming body), the nirmanakaya(the developed body). Gods and Goddesses (also demons and ghosts), animals and humans, are all manifestations in form mandala. But there are other mandalas and other manifestations that even may be non manifestations. Gods are gods, they do not belong to anyone. But for Hinduism, gods are theirs, it is extremely focussed on Self's interaction with the absolute truth, there is creation, there is prejudged fate. So Hinduism is more enjoyment body oriented. An aspect of form manifestation in this vast voidness.

My 2nd son has so many problems being his mum i dnt how to help him.I jus play this buddha the great compassion mantra,hoping it will help him get back his mental health,and make his anger issue go away.He used to be such a sweet and good nature boy but nw being a 20 yr old young man he has changed to be a different person.I dnt knw whether is my bad karma or his bad karma .
He probably needs to learn how to express his emotions and show vulnerability when needed. This is a very difficult process where not many adult can do it. Chanting mantra is supplementary, I would suggest he learn meditation or other form of emotion regulation method.
I guess we all go through different stages of life, this experience may seem negative but we never know the eventual outcome, we may then look back and realized that these challenges in life made us stronger and more tolerant. Metta means always wishing well for others to be out of suffering and danger, may be you can give more Metta to your son, don't compare and judge his before and after, he needs to receive good vibes from his love ones.

Adoration to the Triple Treasure!
Adoration to Avalokiteśvara the Bodhisattva-Mahāsattva who is the great compassionate one!
Om, to the one who performs a leap beyond all fears!
Having adored him, may I enter into the heart of the blue-necked one known as the noble adorable Avalokiteśvara! It means the completing of all meaning, it is pure, it is that which makes all beings victorious and cleanses the path of existence.
Thus:
Om, the seer, the world-transcending one!
O Hari the Mahābodhisattva!
All, all!
Defilement, defilement!
The earth, the earth!
It is the heart.
Do, do the work!
Hold fast, hold fast! O great victor!

在台南的林百貨內買的.當時腰椎坐骨神經痛發作.只能在家裡頭批一些手工來做.
聽著聽著就背起來了大概花了3個多月時間，突然的.就會唱了.
後來聽到CD壞掉.＠＠！
才又在youtube上找到此全CD的版本.
沒有刻意的背.聽久了～就會了。
可能是很早前年輕時就有在持誦一般版本的大悲咒（國／台語）版本.的緣故！

Imee, nice chant of Nilakantha Dharani. But where does this variant comes from (which sutra)? Not the same as the normal Sanskrit version I chant daily. I like to learn the background behind this dharani.
This form is the most complete version that exists today. It includes more epithets of shiva and visnu than the other versions.
