Ok... this is a blessing! The way you put this video together is great! Before I forget, I'll ask my first questions: 1) can we do the same procedure with any of the wild angels? 2)Why do you put that vase in the tank? 3) Where are those angels from? What river and what company to buy from? 4) Do you know any Discus from the Orinoco river? I believe there are non? Thank you so much.
All my fish get the treatment, except if they are hatched in my room. My wild Vichada Altums and my f1 red shoulder Manacapuru angelfish received it. I can't afford to risk a disease killing my room. It happened once many years ago and that is where this quest started. Once I treat with levamisole and Praziquantel which the video will be in a few weeks. I don't have to treat ever again except new arrivals. Praziquantel took the longest to Crack the code, long story!
Discus are structure fish they do not do well in open water because everything is trying to eat them in the wild so it is built into their DNA. The more breaks in the tank the more they feel comfortable and you get to see and enjoy them.
Rio Vichada Altum Orinoco Red shoulder Manacapuru. I have a friend that has family in Brazil. I also have a local guy that buy my fish he is from Venezuela
There are Discus in the Orinoco but most people believe that they were introduced. The great HEIKO BLEHER is very credible and is pretty confident that it is the case.
That's very interesting, I never thought about that. I will put it on the list. Hint, pex at your hardware store you can usually find pre cut pieces. Walk over to the clear hose section both usually in plumbing. Cram the pex into the hose. Buy and cut to length both come in a variety of guages and sizes. TIP- if the hose is a little big wrap a little tape around the end of the pex. For bigger hose to remove water quickly, just take a sponge filter lift tube with you and fit it to the hose it fits on. You can then stick a sponge filer connector with the grate that fits inside the sponge. For super small fry wrap a media bag around the ends. It won't remove debris but it will remove water and small fry will be safe.

@@shelleraquatics So it's good to add to fish food offering to wild species, right? What would be the general rule of application (amount per day, frequency, limits)? Thanks.
I add a couple times a week or 10-12 times a month. But mostly when I remember. During medication use for 3-5 days in a row. The fulvic acid has so many benifits I learned about it from a German breeder. In Germany they are at least 10 years if not more ahead of us here in the U.S.
Thanks for posting this and educating us. I love this 👏
I appreciate your support and feedback 🙏
Thanks Sheller, great informative video!
Thank you Sandy, I really appreciate your feedback 😊 🙏
Nice! Love how you think of everything. Makes it easier for the hobbyist. Or newbies to Discus.
I was frustrated with the industry 😤
