Have you read the book Sweating the metal by Alex Duncan? Non-technical, but it is a great biography of an RAF Chinook pilot that flew combat missions in Afghanistan.
Yea that is a good one too! Lots of great books out there so I just had to concentrate in the first few books for beginners! Phil Croucher has great books too.
Thanks for all the awesome videos sir! From the education to everything else you definitely deserve more recognition! Heading to flight school early next year and I’ve learned so much thanks to you. Hope to see some more videos from around the industry. Cheers from Thunder Bay.

@@PilotTeacher right now the plan is chinook in Abbotsford which I’m sure you’ve heard of as I’ve seen their bell 47 and their 206 in your videos, haven’t committed 100% but it’s looking like that is going to be my choice, and yes I have visited your website many times and I think I’m going to purchase your program. If you’re ever around the city and I’m here would love to buy you a beer 🍻

That's great suggestion, I will buy this book.👏👏👏
Cyclic and collective by Shawn Coyle. He covers everything and makes it fun to read, not like FAA text book. I highly recommend it.

Thats a good start buddy! Lots of great information in your hands to start your training!!
Do you have a different list for a prospective UK rotatry pilot doing the integrated training route?
Hey thanks for the video, silly question: is an audiobook version good? Or do I need to read it?
Ive never tried an audio book so cannot say. I like regular books because i can highlight and make notes in them.
Any EASA pilot recommendations?
Sorry Glenn I don’t have any experience for the EASA test prep stuff so I can’t recommend anything.
