Since recording this video, I found a few other ways to foil without a laser printer or laminator. Let me know in the comments if you are interested in learning more and also let me know if you have tried the glue pen method or if you will be trying it out. Also here are the links to the Sakura and Zig glue pens.

Yes I would definitely like to see more techniques. I have never used a glue pen bit I will be adding the quickie pen to my collection.
Thank you so much! I bought the sakura glue and foiled some velum paper that I designed. It worked a treat! Love from the UK! 🇬🇧

Thanks for this video. I don't have a laminator and this is perfect for me to do foiling because I have certain stickers that I would love to foil. You have such amazing techniques. Thank you❤❤

I love this method. Cheaper option until I can afford a laser printer and minc.
Thank you for watching! 😊
Wow! This came out great! Especially love the butterfly! 😍

Thanks so much, I ordered the ones you like the most. Cause I had the other two but never thought of doing this for foiling. You are awesome!!!!! Yes, I would love to learn more ways to foil.

Thank you for showing this. I knew this could be done with sticky tape, but never even thought about glue pens. So quick and easy when you just want to add a little something to your images. Really impressed with the precision of the Quick Stick (had heard of the others, but not those). Going to Amazon to get some!
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching!
Thank you so much for sharing this . I will be trying it.
You’re welcome 😊 Let me know how you like it! Thank you for watching!
I’m definitely trying this!

You’re welcome 😊 Thank you for watching!
Great tip/video! I'd like to see the other ways you've found to use foil. Tfs!
Coming soon! Thank you for watching!
Hi! This was fun! When I used to foil on nails (manicures) I used a product called "Best Glue Ever". I am going to get some of the Sakura though, I like the pen style!
Thank you... Sounds great! Is the Best Glue Ever a craft glue? It sounds familiar. Thank you for watching!
Yes! It's a craft glue.
I almost purchased a laser printer and the minc machine from Amazon last week. I would have been so mad. I plan to try this I want to foil my printable planner kits that I purchase. I would like to learn more please so a video. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for watching!
There is also a difference zig 2 way glue pen that works similar to the quickie glue pen. It’s sooooo much better. There are also some embossing pens. If you want a quick border, you can line the page with double sided sticky tape and run the foil over it. It’s so pretty!
Interesting! I'll have to check those out. Thank you for watching!
I love the tips!! I'll be trying this for sure and I'd love to see any other tips that you might have to share. I've been wanting to foil, but I always seem to have one thing and not another like I have a laminator, but no laser printer lol this makes it easy to add accents as you like. Hugs, Robin
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching! 🤗
The zig glue pen comes out blue so you can see where you’re putting it down and then it dries down clear 😁
Good to know. Thank you!

Love this idea! Do you have foil sheets that you can recommend? Thanks so much!
Yes I do, I use foil from Heidi Swapp, but really any reactive foil should work. So sorry for the delayed response. I missed your question previously. Thank you for watching!
I say teach me something gurl!! Thank you for this tip. Do you think this will work with nail foils if i used them on my stickers? I have a bunch of foils for my nails that I could use the pretty prints of. Or does it have to be with foil for crafting?
I'm not sure nail foil would work, but I don't see why it wouldn't. Try it! Please let me know if it works. Thank you for watching!
Thanks for the video! 👍 Does the foil come off if you rub it? If so, does it need to be sealed?
You're welcome. No, it doesn't come off. Thank you for watching!
I will try this... so the glue needs to be wet in order to adhere the foil to the glue? If so, if you could have done it that way, us viewers could have gotten a better view. Do you have videos doing that specific?
No it does not need to be wet. The Aleenes glue is the one that was wet and doesn't work dry. If doesn't really work wet either. You get a smushed blob of foil if you apply it while wet.
Scrapcraftastic you stated you liked Aleenes in the beginning then you said you didn’t. I’m just confused to which one would be the best to try. Also, how much time passed after putting down the different glues before you applied the foil?
