Tip: when the revenant (aka the worst enemy of the game) has green poison cloud around it means you won't be able to hit it. Once atreus shoots them, that cloud disapears for a moment and that when they are vulnerable

For the realm tear in the chamber, basically there was a Valkyrie in there at one point, but a dwarf wandered in and freed her on accident. She attacked him as he tried to teleport (the same way Brock and Sindri do) causing the realm tear. It that mentioned that her jailer (identity revealed later) put her in a new prison, either Muspelheim or Nifelheim. Let’s just say I’d check both.
PRO TIP >> Whenever you fight ANY Valkyrie.... as soon as they levitate into the air to launch an aerial attack... SHOOT THEM DOWN IMMEDIATELY >> Throw your axe, or have Atreus fire arrows at them >> It will knock them out of the air + stun them + and give you some time to get a few more melee hits in. Timiing is everything. As soon as they float up, your window of opportunity is small, (only about 2-3 seconds) so be quick. If you cannot lock on target quick enough to throw your axe (or if Atreus is temporarily out of arrows) just hold BLOCK to defend against their incoming aerial attack >> Just a tip. Take it or Leave it.
Depends on your difficulty level. If you play on "Give Me a Challenge" or higher, the little sh*t's arrows will not knock a valkyrie out of the air. You must use a weapon. Also, hitting the down button on the d-pad will do a quick turn. Use this to keep from getting blinded when she slaps her wings together while in the air.

Bro, the laserbeam is absolutely broken and you crossed beams with an Ancient like Dumbledore and Voldemort in the Order of the Phoenix xD Quick tip: try beaming the Valkyries when you start their battles. They take a while to get into "battle mode" and are an easy target to land some damage right off the bat.
If you hear chimes-like sounds, it means one of Odin's ravens is nearby. I'm pretty sure there's been one in every valkyrie chamber so far and there was one next to Sindri's shop during the Fafnir mission.

Bro, you need to keep in mind that blocking and evading are key to beating this game, especially on challenge mode. Tip 1: Also getting Atreus to shoot a Valkyrie when she is in the air helps to ground her back down and stop the aerial attacks which does a lot of damage. Tip 2: Definitely block whatever she shoots at you while in the air, you can't block all of them but most if I am not mistaken.
One of the best, coolest most BADASS moments in this game, my personal favourite, the MUSIC, THE CUTSCENE EVERYTHING, the fact this game still stands up to par against games releasing in 2024, it's crazy, love the video Mati :)

For the revenants, you have to hit them with a boy arrow first. When he hits, you'll see their protective glow break apart. If you see the glow come back, use another arrow to break it. You cant hit them unless you break their protection. Just how you you need to break a fire draugr red glow before attacking in close quarters.
Atreus is like that one kid who gets like £100 for his birthday and thinks he the richest person in the world except this time he finds out he's a god and now he thinks he can take on Goku.

USEFUL TIP against VALKYRIES >> (1) Only try a Valkyrie fight when your Rage Meter is FULL. (2) If parry. block and evade isn't your strong suite and you need health during resurrection, pick the Superior Resurrection stone and NOT the Berserker's Resurrection Stone. (3) As soon as the Valkyrie awakens, start spamming your L1 + R1/R2 skills. Sometimes Atreus' runic summon can keep them stunned for your hits to land.
with the valkeries and other bosses , TRY THIS strat ........ when you have all your runics available ( axe and blades and atrues special and even talisman ) and you have your opening . Use all ....maybe first axe runics ...dont let the valkerie have a chance than use talisman than switch to blades . unload your runics and cap it off ...... use atreus special wolves to finish off and take step back to breath . wait for cool down by hits and jabs here and there while blocking . rince and repeat after cool down . REMEMBER all runics stun bosses . jab hits and takes life but they wont flinch sometimes
So one thing to keep in mind sometimes when you get new gear the stats seem lower sometimes because you have stuff socketed into the current gear you have...once you swap over the socketed runes the stats tend to equalize although some gear is more focused on different stats
Dont get too distracted by your health. Once you panic cuz your low health, you lose focus and get killed. Stay in the fight, find health as it falls. Or try using ratotaskr summon if you have him. You'll like him, hes very nice
fun fact: Kratos cannot get rid of the blades, whenever he leaves them, or tries to destroy them, they return to his hands when he is not looking, or sleeping, this is not said in the game, but in the comics, so it is not a spoiler haha, he tried to get rid of them on the way to the Nordic world. Yeah the Glaive Storm and Wrath of the Frost Ancient are two of the most OP runic attacks for the axe. They are insane when you level them up to max. In fact the Wrath of the Frost Ancient was so OP that it got nerfed in Ragnarök.
There is a slight sound cue when a boss does an unblockable attack. U will hear a short of chime but it's a bit hard to hear bc of all the screaming. So keep ur ears open.

Lessgooo, mati if u want to 100% god of war i recommend going for the platinum in god of war ragnarok cuz it has some of the best side quests and u should do all of them once u get there.
Yoooo, I’ve played and watched this game a bunch but I never realized that “Hmph” Kratos did after that one battle that took place after he upgraded the blades of Chaos. That “hmph” was him acknowledging the improvement of his blade and the brothers talent. Such a small moment, this game is amazing.
Whatever his powers might be, Baldur has to have a weakness. I don't believe Odin would want someone like Baldur roaming free and potentially threatening his rule.

You *HAVE* to use Atreus to stun the Revenants (Teleporting poison witches) to hit them with Kratos.
Also, remember to use Atreus' summons.
YOU GOT THE TALISMAN OF THE REALMS!!! This is the best talisman IMO by FAR... I would definitely suggest using that one...

They're pretty vulnerable to stun, especially from fully upgraded light arrow explosions.

Lessgooo, mati if u want to 100% god of war i recommend going for the platinum in god of war ragnarok cuz it has some of the best side quests and u should do all of them once u get there.
Great episode as always) Just wanted to remind you to switch weapons more often in boss battles. That way you can do more rune attacks.
Yoooo, I’ve played and watched this game a bunch but I never realized that “Hmph” Kratos did after that one battle that took place after he upgraded the blades of Chaos. That “hmph” was him acknowledging the improvement of his blade and the brothers talent. Such a small moment, this game is amazing.
Whatever his powers might be, Baldur has to have a weakness. I don't believe Odin would want someone like Baldur roaming free and potentially threatening his rule.
here's a nice little detail, Kratos and Atreus will shake with the cold from Helheim.
That whole Baldur cutscene still gives me chills even after playing and watching it soooo many times!!! And if I had a nickel for everytime Atreus said whatever well I'd have a few nickels I know that for sure
