Landing on Dimitri Vegas’ Smash The House sub-label House of House, in partnership with Tomorrowland, ‘Dance To The Drums (Hey)’ sees Ape Rave Club go all-out house in the first few bars with a killer bassline and syncopated clap. Etching a raw, rave sound into the slick production, with brash synth patterns, glitching vocal cuts and tantalising builds that stamp the track with a nostalgic filter, yet there’s no doubt that this is a house heater made for the here and now.
A creation of globally recognised NFT community ‘Bored Ape Yacht Club,’ dance music artist Ape Rave Club has proven a true dancefloor disruptor since inception. The digital artist made history as Tomorrowland festival’s first-ever NFT headline artist in 2022 which saw them debut straight onto the mainstage alongside industry heavyweights Armin van Buuren, Marshmello and Tiësto.
