In fact they should bring back Mob C and have the sniffer work in tandem with that, giving the Mob C the sniffer flowers could cause it to burp out new ancient terrain blocks and a sapling that paves the way for a completely man made biome
my idea is that it could find the ACTUAL ancient flowers of Minecraft, the Rose and Cyan Flower alongside two new flowers that craft the dye to make the removed wool colours from Classic Minecraft.
An ACTUAL yellow wood type, because bamboo doesn't match the other plant textures (and if its a more golden yellow, its different enough to justify existing).
@@lasercraft32 Instead of another warm color Wood type (and another yellow one at that), Sniffers actually dig up Wood with more vibrant color, like Blue or Light Blue, not the dirty cyan Warped Planks. I heavily agree with the Llama revisions. It makes no sense as to why the Wandering Traders Llamas will attack Undead, Illagers, or anything that poses a threat to their owner on sight, but the player's Llamas do not care. Ocelots should be like Foxes in my opinion, in that they are not tamable, but they can be trusted. Since Wolves can spawn in Jungles now, there is no need for them to be the Jungle version of Wolves. Would you also come up with ideas for the unused/forgotten mobs, the Giant, Zombie Horse, and Illusionist?
I’d personally make it so Llamas (and Camels too) can have mobs ride them too. This would make mob transport a lot simpler and give them a better, unique use compared to other rideable mobs
Idea for Ocelots: since creepers are afraid of felines, maybe the ocelot could be one of the few pets to actively attack the creeper without priming its explosion? I think that'd give them a unique edge over a lot of other pets
Fun fact: furnace minecarts just straight up don't exist in bedrock edition, and I'm pretty sure the plan is to eventually remove them from java as well. Also minecarts are the exact same speed as they were when they were first added in the beta days, back when the player couldn't even sprint. So even before Elytra they were pretty awful for getting around
imo itd be cool if instead of just axes, every attack would disable a shield for a short while, so if you know you're gonna get hit you can get a single 100% damage reduction, then you have to wait another 10 or so seconds
I've had some ideas about Minecarts Change the recipe for powered rails to use copper instead of gold. Make it so we can link multiple minecarts together with chains (max of 5, I guess?). Have minecarts retain some of their momentum when falling off a ledge from a rail.
Sniffer suggestion: make them ridable and if you give them a illager banner they will walk to the nearest pillager outpost or woodland mansion and etc.
My two additions, not only should players be able to control llamas, llamas should also follow players riding camels, to add to the caravan vibes, and for shields, maybe make it so it scales with difficulty, so easy has 100%, normal 50%, and hard 25%
On top of everything else, I'm surprised you never mentioned bats. Bats only serve as an annoyance flying around everywhere & making annoying sounds--they're like the mosquitos of the Minecraft world. I really think bats deserve some kind of use & I have two ideas, one is an item & the other is a function of the mob itself. The item could be a piece of bat wings! You could get a drop of 0-2 bat wing pieces every time you kill a bat, and you need 6 total to craft the wings, along with maybe a stick or two. Bat wings when fully crafted could be the early game version of the elytra, where you can glide around. However, the bat wings would have a small durability & can't be boosted with rockets. It's simply a gliding tool & would give some added reward for killing bats. My other idea has to do with a function the bat could have. Bats naturally live in caves & it would be nice if bats could lead you to particular landmarks, like an obscured abandoned mineshaft, amethyst geodes...basically any useful place/structure that is relatively surface-level, as the function shouldn't be too OP & strongholds for example already have a way to be discovered. Maybe you could give a bat an apple or leaves in order to achieve this function, y'know something reasonable & common in Minecraft that fits Mojang's current trajectory of imitating real life to a degree. Either of these options--or both--would give the bats some use, especially in early to even mid-game. It's not a perfect solution but I would rather have the bat be useful at any stage than be a constant irritation I can't kill because IT MOVES SO FAST The vid is great though! I totally agree with everything mentioned, especially the fletching table. I would LOVE to see archery as a whole be more fleshed-out, especially since we're getting new melee weapons now with the mace. Who says ranged weapons can't also be expanded on? Mojang please just let the fletching table do SOMETHING I beg of you T-T
Minecarts do not have switch or crossover rails, no can they be coupled together. If Minecarts were a modern feature they would have such things out the fate I imagine. Also stews should be stackable, the only reason is because it’s in a bowl, which feels lame to justify. Edit: My idea for the furnace minecart is to redesign it, make it so you can ride with the furnace minecart, and give it an interface to allow you to change directions (maybe directional keys can be change its direction outside the UI too).
Technically, shields have some drawbacks. They can only be used to temporarily stun ravagers, and axes will cause them to be disabled for about 5 seconds or so, making them less effective on vindicators and piglin brutes. They also lose durability rather quickly without unbreaking. I think making ocelots another cat skin that’s exclusive to the jungle (instead of finding them in villages), and scrapping your combat idea with them would be enough to make them be useful again. For villagers, I feel like having them follow you with emeralds could have antisemitic implications of them being overly money obsessed (hence why we can’t leash them, because it’s too reminiscent of slavery), so maybe something like cake, which is already a little useless, could be used to lure them, since all villagers would like sweets, or something.
You can already sorta do your villager idea. You place the job station down and the villager will walk to it, then you break it and place it another 30 blocks away or something. I don't know what the distance limit is, but I'm pretty sure it's over 50 even with hills in the way. I've never had to use rails or boats for villagers using this method.
Instead of making Ocelots functionally the same as Cats, Ocelots should stay as a semi-tameable mob but instead they will run and follow you when you are holding a fish, but doesn't follow otherwise. Right now; Ocelots are actually much better at being pet cats than Cats since they actually roam around, instead of just sitting in one place (which is what mainly happens to them anyways), the only thing missing from them is a temporary following behavior and scaring away Phantoms. Also, nah they should absolutely not change the Netherite Armor texture, Diamond Armor and the rest have such a boring and plain texture in comparison, the only thing it needs is a very minor clean up to some pixels that are too dark

I totally agree with you on the shield changes, but I would personally also like for them to add shields for the other metals. Then something like a 75% or 80% blocking netherite or diamond shield with near complete knockback resistance would be far more reasonable when you can start with like a 20% wooden shield with a smaller resistance. Though I would also nerf all axes except diamond and netherite once to not deal 9 damage, but instead like one damage more than the sword of their tier.
