I did a project slightly bigger than this once in survival, it was VERY rough but props to you if you pull through. Only thing that made me not lose my mind was other projects

Another amazing build. In my opinion, you're the best MC builder on UA-cam. Not only are the exteriors stunning, but you put so much work and care into the interiors. My goodness, this is gorgeous. I love the life you put into these builds and the editing. its not just about interiors, tho that is a big step.
I remember seeing a massive build another had made. It had some interior, but it still felt empty- like a barren shell. They then spammed villagers and cows and other things everywhere. the streets they had made were filled like sardines. It still didn't feel alive
You understand atmosphere. You capture it so well in ever aspect of the build- including how you present it in the video. The music, editing, and sound effects along with what you make in game add up to something magical

Your skill and consistency is absolutely incredible. It's like the Autumn Castle and Pagoda became Indian. This is the Sanctum's equivalent to the Autumn Castle. I always get so giddy when you post a new video, but then I saw this,and i was completely discombobulated. A tutorial is not requested, it's required.

as someone who feels compelled to build interiors, i know how much time & thought has to have gone to such a huge build, its remarkable! the level of detail is inspiring, im definitely taking notes
Thank you! I would say that a lot of thought went into it, but it wasn't rigitly planned. The main shape was based on a very rough sketch I did on a screenshot, but most of the details kind of emerged as I went along. Same goes for the interior. I had some ideas for what rooms I wanted but I didn't stick to a single plan. I did a video explaining my approach, called "Thinking Inside the Box". It gets a bit philosophical in the beginning, but later in the video I give examples for how I approach designing my builds. 🙂
We 100% need a tutorial on this. It would work so well with the sanctum which Ive already built in my world!

It is beautiful. I have built the Sanctum and The Arch Tower and am working on the Mausoleum. It would be amazing to add this to my city build. I know it’s a lot of work, but your tutorials are wonderful. I hope this will be one soon.

You should partner with YOUNG to make a structure mod for megastructures, its a niche that needs to be filled for the world generation mods that when dungeons arise just doesnt match up with, and distant horizons is going to make your builds stand out for miles!

Thanks! It's definitely something that would suit some of my builds and I'm definitely interested. I'm probably gonna try it at some point. Up until now I've made everything vanilla, so everyone can download my builds at any point in time and play in the world, without needing additional mods and resource packs, but I could definitely try it for some builds. The pulsing of the heart of the castle made me think it would be cool Halloween idea to see a similar castle whose heart has failed/ is failing/ has been warped, which creates a haunted/cursed aspect to the life and colors of the castle

Haha, yeah, I was confused too for a moment. There're so many ways one could add to the story-pieces I've introduced in the video. Love it when it sparks people's imagination. Filip Melvan who wrote the title music for the build called the song Emberheart Castle, so obviously I named the castle that and I just had to incorporate that into the lore of the castle somehow.

That means that youtube will have to take a backseat whenever I get regular work projects. But I will try and do it as quickly as possible.
Beautifull work! My jaw was on the floor... Just my curiosity speeking- do you create the environment, or do you just happen to see some cool game created mountains and say to yourself: "Yep, I can see something majestic sitting here!" ?
Thank you! So glad you like it. The second one, sort of. I usually start new worlds and scout for mountains and interesting places. I found about 8 cool spots and did some rough drawings on screenshots for each location. More or less the same process for some of the other castle type builds, although I did do some terraforming for some of them. But aim actually liking this method more and more. Simply design the build around the existing terrain. 🙂

Hey SixWings, how do you usually compose a plan of building?
It depends on the build. Some builds take more planning and I might test different designs to see what works. Other builds are made up as a go. Hvis one is the latter, kind of. I made a very rough sketch that outlined a rough shape, so I more or less knew the shape, but all details where made up as I was building. You should check out my "Thinking Inside the Box" video where I talk about this very thing.
I have an idea for one of your next projects, you could do the great TOWER OF BABEL built until reaching heaven..but never finished

what is the reason for not using world edit tool?
I keep asking myself that question 😅. I did for some of my older builds, so it's not that I'm against it. Partly because it makes for a more impressive timelapse but also because of the nature of the build. There aren't as many repetitions in a build likes this so it felt more natural to just build without much planning. But I'm not against using it and I might use it again at some point for building a bigger build. Something that wouldn't be feasible without.
