This is fantastic! Thank you both for taking the time to explain these exercises.
I wear skinny jeans for work and I'm constantly on my feet and then driving for long periods and recently have had extreme pain in my hips. I did these and a recent one you uploaded and for the first time in a long time my hips feel relaxed and pain free. Thank you so much
Thanks! This was exactly what I was looking for. My hip feels a little better just by doing it once! Thanks again!
Good stuff. Thanks guys!
Can’t wait to try this after work today!!
I've been doing these exercises for one week now, once in the morning, once before bed and I'm amazed how much of a change that is happening already. I've had an irritated left hip for about 3 years and I backed off running and hiking and tried complete rest as well scoured UA-cam for exercises to fix it. All to no avail. I had come to a place of just accepting it. Then I found your channel and this video. The first time I did these exercises and stretches my left hip felt like on fire but what was exciting is I could tell it was isolating exactly where my problem was. Also, I discovered that right hip is WAY tight, I suppose from trying to take more weight from the left hip. I persisted with these and though it became more irritated for a few days, it started to shift and I'm feeling my butt starting to engage and my hips are changing, even my walking stance is shifting. And my pain level is down and I can actually lift my foot the teensiest bit. I'm excited and thanks so much!!!❤️
How is it going now? I feel the same problem so going to start doing these
@@thegreatguy6340 It's going well, after a couple of weeks I started to notice a difference in my walking, how my hips move when I walk. I can also squat to the floor to pick something up which o haven't been able to do for years. I have slowed down how often I do it to give the muscles a rest. Also I tend to roll the front, side and back of the hip once a week which I saw him so on a different video. Especially if the hip starts getting irritated again, then I know it's tightening up again and I've been neglecting the exercises and stretches.
Same story here, just a tip: also check for anterior pelvic tilt. It's very common and also effects my rotation
Great video, thanks!
I just wanted to say I love you bro :) You have helped me so much! Much love.
Thanks so much guys!!
Thanks for great tricks,
Absolutely awesome. I have very tight hips, it’s awful, but these exercises have definitely helped ease the mega tension and lack of internal/external rotation. Thanks so much for this Video 👍🏼
After how much time did you see significant change?
Trying the ankle weighted internal stretch tomorrow. Looks incredible. Thank you!
Nice video, I will try very soon. How much time in theses positions?
While I was doing first stretch, my whole body was laterally falling to the other side. Any idea why?
Hi, these exercises are great but curious to know if I can overdo it and whether I need to plan in any rest days? I’m a keen golfer who has just found out that I have really poor flexibility in this area? I can barely get into these positions at the moment! Can you give a suggested timetable? Say 3 times a day or is this too much? Any rest days? Thanks
Hello! Im very grateful for your videos you are great! I have a question tho, in the first stretch when i try to lift my foot up and have my hand over your ankle to hold for isometric contraction I feel the head of my femur being weird sometimes do you know why?
Love the ending guys 👍🏻
I have Hip Internal Rotation Deficiency , when do some streches with internal rotation later i have low back pain , should i strech more ?
Olso my glutes and obliques dont fire properly! Thanks for any answer and advice!
is thee a video shows how to brace the cramp?
I have really tight right side hip (seem like there is one straight line and it pulled and make my right hip higher than left) and when i do stretching by side bend it worst
So i will try this one
good vid
Thanks for the video! I feel uncomfortable on the inside of my knee when doing these internal hip rotations, is this normal? Where the knee is touching the ground on the leg that is being stretched
Fantastic! Im doing those exercises because I have severe pain in my hips while I'm trying to kick higher
I’m wondering should we play with internally rotate the pelvic and externally?
When I lift my leg up I get this pop noise and it feels almost worse after these stretches? I’m kinda worried about it - am I doing it wrong or just very tight? I have dreadful internal and external rotation on that side I think... thanks
I never saw the box exercise for internal rotation before
whenever I do stretches like this I feel the pain in my front hip near the TFL though
If I feel cramming during the exercise should I exit the stretch or hold my position?
@uprighthealth When I do the first movement for any length of time I get pain in the front of the hip and it can lock up and then it’s painful to get out of it….any suggestions on what it could be?
The exercise at 12:18 - the ankle on which weights are placed is raising itself from ground. Can you please tell me the reason for this and how to fix this? If I increase the weight, will it cause problem? I am keeping 5 kg but it is still pushing it.
i had a total hip replacement 1 year ago. can i do this exercise without causing any danger to myself.
What you can do with your hips is dependent on how your surgery was performed. You should absolutely consult with your surgeon about what is okay for you to do!
This position hurts only in my left hip. Is it an injury or something? Also the lunge stretch for the hips flexors also hurts my left hip.
I don't know what's going on
Primus 001 can be a lot of things. If it's pain and not discomfort ,you shoul NOT keep doing what causes that.Go get a check up.If it's just difficult/tight,then it can be the way you jump sleep, stand, walk,SIT,some sport,if you work out ,maybe your form...Examine yourslef ,see what is up.Maybe one leg is shorter ,or your pelvis is tilted to one side..good luck
I have FAI and had surgery on my right hip already. These moves are painful. Not in the muscle but in the joint itself. Is this safe for me? Im scared Ill tear my labrum again.
It's Josh from the strength side channel.
Hard with my titanium hips but looks very effective.
I get a "thump" sound whenever I bring my leg down after bringing it up to my chest. It feels like something is rubbing against each other. There's no pain, but I have patellar maltracking with annoying knee clicking after I injured myself. I think this hip sound started after in injured my knee. If I rotate the leg outwards and do the same motion, then it does not happen. Anyone know what it is? Thanks.
If you do fee this in the knee is there a way to move to alleviate that issue
It's weird but I can't sit down straight when putting my right leg back. When I put my right leg back, my body leans to the left and I can't seem to straighten up. Am I doing something wrong?
Tried it can't sit up straight while doing this what do you suggest?
Does this help hip snapping and a sore TFL?
I need an answer for this as well
Same
poodle pisses on the window at 14:44 lol
This is to strengthen muscle to fix duck feet too right
Did it help? That’s why I came here. My feet turn out all the time. Just sitting. Walking. Running. Everything
🦆
A dog outside peed on the building.
With that 90/90 position, I can't raise my leg even without any additional weight. It's like the muscles are not controlled by my brain anymore. It really feels like that! I need to do this every day.
Same! I have to REALLY try to get it to do anything.
How much time you stay in theses exercises ?
@@CameToPlay There's hardly a standard answer. I would say 3x10 reps. Hold for 10 seconds each rep.
What if i can't even get into the first position?
Try Alfons Feldenkrais youtube video introduction to the hip it has a series of gentle movements that will get you there
I think we have FAI, femoroacetural impingment
I want to improve hip EXTERNAL rotation.
puppies! @ 8:35 - 8:41
LOL yeah one of the puppies getting good internal rotation with that raised leg at the window
8:30 dog pees outsidd
Is that Jesse from AthleanX?
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
The puupy peed on your building 😜
Jesus can save God is good🙏🏾
Seriously looks all pretty extreme to me. I hoped for movement exercises not for stretches...
Then you shouldnt have clicked on a mobility vudeo lmao!
Will these work for me to prevent the rotation in my hip
