- Being in the hauling and junk removal business, I'm often picking up loads that are a fair distance from my trailer. A typical wheelbarrow has worked well for me for some time. That said, on a recent job, moving 4700 lbs. of brick and mortar, my wheelbarrow broke. New contractor grade wheelbarrows are expensive, which prompted me to start looking at powered wheelbarrows. They are expensive!! My needs were a machine that worked with my budget, would fit into tight spaces and would not tear up my client's yard. A typical backhoe or skid steer would be too big or heavy in most instances.
Enter the DR Power Wagon! What a game changer this machine is. This is a "vintage" unit which is right up my alley. It had some issues, but the price reflected that, and I got them worked out. The DR Power Wagon is a small, highly maneuverable machine which can haul up to 800 lbs.! I can load this machine on my trailer or truck with ease. It has plenty of power, turns on a dime and gets into the tightest of spaces. Once in those tight spaces, I can simply throw the machine in reverse and back right out. Did I mention this machine is a game changer for me?!
The DR Powerwagon is not your typical type of power equipment. When I drive it around or walk behind it, people stare and are very inquisitive. I'm happy to answer their questions, but for me, it's a machine that just gets work done. That's a win in my book!
Thanks for watching!

Excellent machine - I've had mine for 28 years and it works hard every summer.
Wow, 28 years and going strong! I use mine every winter moving wood and in my hauling business. Great machine!
Brilliant. That thing can really handle a load.
It sure can. Happy to have it!
excellent review, looking at one now and this answered all the questions one would have without ever seeing one in person since its not everyday someone whips out a gas wheelbarrow
Ha ha ha, you're right, not a common sight. Thanks, glad it helped you!

Nice man ....that thing is sweet.....👍🤙
Thanks! It sure makes my job easier.
Pretty cool. My kind a toy.
Us Men, we gotta have toys!
Looks like an awesome machine. I built a dump trailer that I pull behind my John Deer lawn mower. This is a better setup it seems...
I'm really diggin' it so far. Nothing wrong with your tractor/trailer setup. I have the same type of setup myself but didn't want to try and back it up my ramps and into my trailer with a full load.
Nice video. I just got one! Where could i buy a sulky? I have the same cart.
Thanks. I would keep my eye on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace. They don't come up for sale all that often, but I have seen them from time to time.
Cool I just fixed mine
Very cool. Solid machine!
@@EightWheelsRollin how can I find the seat attachment or ?
To my knowledge, DR no longer makes/sells them. You'll have to watch Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace and OfferUp.
Do you know what size battery to use on it also the oil type??
My Battery is a 17AH 12V. I use 30 weight oil.
