"Yes, fill 'er up please..."
(9 days later)
"That'll be er... $1.1m sir." At least you only have to go the gas station once every year or so. hehe
kilrassclown yep....you gave to be RICH
The USPS mail box will be convenient. I'll put my monthly payments in it.
I want a Typhoon class submarine. You got any those for sale?
Well if the economy ever goes belly up you got one hundred and twenty days to float out at sea while the world goes bat shit crazy.
Good take.
This boat might be good for a floating university sort of deal. Even then it would cost an arm and a leg to run and maintain.
The smaller NOAA sips very often do go to universities. This one would probably be too big, as you say.
Is The Sahara still on offer??
To convert to an explorer yacht would take a billionaire’s wallet. But it was made by a government entity who has a deep pocket. It takes a billionaire to support this. Beautiful ship.
It is not listed as sold. I am really curious about what the buyer has planned. It is a magnificent vessel. I hope it went to someone who has big plans for it.
Read Stabbert marine filed for bankruptcy ...in 2018 wonder what happened to the ships
I'm looking for a 60 foot sailboat, but this will do
It's too bad this vessel got scrapped. So much potential. Even if not as a luxury yacht or cruise. I'm surprised it isn't lined up with different organizations that would benefit from a purpose built research vessel. And not to mention for a vessel this large, it has both speed, range, endurance, and ice strengthen. It's as if Jacques Cousteau were to build a vessel to his specifications.
if only I was a bigillionare
An excellent and professional presentation.
Yes, but first to find a contract! Such as Cable laying, optical fiber, Subsea works. This heavy construction could be used for offshore oil & gas assistance and to carry on the new type of lader for crew moving (See the new Eni Normand maximus) on this tube.
The fact to have Helicopters on board for emergency is a great plus.
about the cost to add the seefarers etc. etc.
Also, the goal is often: the ship number one shoud pay the ship number Two.
This vessel is also adaptal for all type of jobs.
I don' think, to buy her for à luxurius or, and leasure ship is a good idea.
On the leasure market an old boat, stay an old boat.
Cheers.
I love the artist rendition. She looks like a military luxury yacht. I LOVE the look!
it is far too complex and old for a small yacht crew to maintain, NOAA had plenty of personnel and money to keep it running, thats why it was retired. the old Farbanks OPs need to be put out to pasture too.
So you take stimulus check?
LoL.
I would buy this ship any day. Sarah
Yes, it’s the best vessel on the internet for worldwide marine species protection.😮😊❤
I got $5 on it!
That blimp hangar will be perfect for me to store
my wife.
Is she still for sale?
Gone to the scrappers, I'm sorry to report.
@@ExpeditionYachts Tragic.
Wait this vessel is only $800,000?
but $50mil-$150mil to redo.... unless you go crazy all out and spend over $200mil
I love this ship I love this ship so moutch I would keep it all the same.
Yes. In Seattle.
1 million for a fill up
Turning this beauty into a stupid yacht!😢😢 NO! NO!
beautiful ship
Why could NOAA not repair it and continue to use it?
I think it was too large to be practical for normal NOAA missions. Their fleet is generally comprised of much smaller vessels. As rumor has it, these larger ships were built and deployed during the cold war and their funding and missions may have been for tracking Russian subs.
Why did NOAA not repair the ship and continue to use it?
I have no idea. It was very efficient to run, but probably the manning requirements were large. Its official mission was to map ocean floor in Pacific, but many believed that with its range and speed its real mission was to track and follow Russian subs.
неплохо...
только почему на морду этот брокер выглядит как бомж????
прислуга ресторане,а не брокер-и он хочет чтобы я ему с такой мордорй доверил мои деньги на покупку яхты????
квазимодо,блять..
not bad ...
just why the muzzle this broker looks like a tramp?
Maid restaurant rather than broker-and he wants me to him with such muzzle entrusted my money to buy a yacht?
Quasimodo, fucking ...
or a drunkard ...
Camera work put me off - got dizzy trying to follow the changes.
Is this still available and if so can I have contact info please?
Yes. pm@private-yacht.net
It is still for sale?
Yes. For info, my email is pm@privare-yacht.net
way too much time and money
A new build would take 3-4 years and over $150 million.
Did it sell ?
Yes. An Italian bought it and was converting it into a yacht when he had an untimely death. It ended up in the scrap yard, sadly.
Is this 303ft for sale and how much cheers mate
This one is gone. Last time it sold the price was $5.5 million.
Apparently according to the Yacht channel it was sold and then scrapped.
Sadly, yes.
Absolutely sad. Beautiful boat.
Heady stuff!
And the current asking price as is where is?
$800,000. paul@denisonyachtsales.com
Sahara is currently in Mexico and may be scrapped unless a buyer comes along.
Is this ship for sale??
scrapped
Was it sold or scrapped?
Sold. Owner died. Scrapped.
Such a beautiful ship. So sad. Thanks for replying
$18,000 a day to run...Dooh
+BigWater59 This vessel cruises at 18-knots with small engines and it is incredibly economical. Burns about the same as a big sport fisher. The hull is a beautiful design that many new vessels can not match with their flat-steel panels.
