I agree with the 'wherever GOD leads you" aspect, it has happened to me before I was about to pay my tithe in church and the HolySpirit instructed me to pay it into a different church. I can't question GOD on HIS decisions, he decides and speaks to His people. It could be that the church I paid it into was in need of finances or the pastor himself and GOD used me to bless him. So yes I agree with that aspect
It's somehow amazing how we claim Abraham's blessings which is the old testament but not embrace this great platform of prosperity called tithe, I think we need to read Mal 3 v 10 to 12 and seek for revelation. Thanks Apostle Arome Osayi for this clarity

What I don't agree on is not using your tithe to help someone, it actually depends on the situation at hand, there was a time in scriptures when King David and his men came back from battle and were very hungry, they went into the temple and saw foods that were brought as offering to GOD, he and his men ate it and GOD was not angry with what they did because of the situation, they would have fainted or died of hunger if they hadn't done that. So I do believe your tithe can be used to help someone depending on the situation, epecially if it's a dire one.
Greetings my sister. The things David and his men ate were already offered to the Lord. What Apostle is saying is that we should pay our tithe wherever the God directs us to. Because God already has a reason to direct you there. Let your tithe wherever you've paid it be a source of succor, help or reprieve there. Just like the tithe paid was a source of help for David and him men. May God grant us understanding.
@@raphaelumeh2362 I never disputed the direction aspect, if you read the comments you'll see where I agreed to that, what I don't agree to is not using your tithe to help someone in need, that I don't agree to, I used David's example in other to make it clear that God is not a wicked GOD who will have a problem with one using his/her tithe to help someone, if GOD can direct you to give your tithe to another church obviously he can direct you to do the same to a person in need. What we have is not ours nor is it the pastors nor does it belong to the church, it belongs to GOD first and last. Remember Jesus Christ came to change the law of moses and to insert the law of GOD which equals LOVE. So where is the love if you do not help one in need.
@@bs_fashion pay your tithe to the Lord first and foremost where He leads. I don’t think he meant you’re not allowed to help people he just said you’re not God in their life and you can’t decide their destiny. But your tithe to the Lord is your tithe to the Lord not to people in need. That could be something different entirely not really your “tithe”

Where does bible says to pay tithe where you are led? scripture reference is needed here. The bible says to BRING it to the church, that there might be meet in the house, right? If you are in church and paying tithe elsewhere, maybe its better to move to that church so you can get full benefits of the grace and blessing there, since it will unfair to continue to enjoy the benefits of your church without your financial support. In my opinion Pay your tithe in your church or move. I agree with other points he mentioned.

I'm not happy with with this man's answers because none of these things are NT scriptures... meaning everyone including the apostles had less revelations than him ? All this tithe teaching in monetory is a fallacy, isn't it quite strange that there are many scriptures and practices in the NT regarding giving cheerfully but not one scripture about money tithe...you say it's a principle; a principle is a law. And laws can never be changed just like scriptures cannot be broken, they can only be fulfilled (which is what Jesus came to do, and it is finished)...
What are you not happy about his answers?
And what are your own answers supported by the NT according to you, since you say his teaching has no scriptural NT reference.
Its not enough to just come and point at nothing or find fault at, without showing the path to go.
Teach us your own understanding with your own New Testament support.
When Elijah was making mouth that he was the only prophet remaining/ available, God asked him to shut his mouth, that I decide to use you does not mean you are the best, I have many Prophets like you, its called mercy.

Eph 2:20 "And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;"

He said something that I believe is important. Tithing is the preliminary stage of giving. It's an O level requirement according to him. . The apostles didn't make mention of tithing the initial stage because the church as at then wasn't an organized structure. Giving Tithe wasn't their priority, they gave their all. The man Ananias who gave half but wanted to claim the glory for giving everything was killed by the Holy Ghost for his dishonesty. That's not to say there's a percentage expected of him. He was just dishonest. I mentioned that because as at then the early disciples went beyond 10% to giving their all.
Tithing is in the scripture, Jesus talked about it and encouraged us to do likewise.
I have tested tithing and I have tested non tithing. I know the difference. I can categorically tell you based on experience that tithing based on God's leading is the best thing to do.
