The Truth is that the reason why Melchizedek was a king and a priest at the same time was to depict the personality of Jesus Christ being our King and priest at the same time, and it happened at a time when Levi had not even emerged, which is to show that the priesthood and kingly ministry of Jesus has been before the foundation of the Earth

What is 10% to cause such a great argument in the body of Christ? I think that's very little percent to give to God, Isn't ? Why believers are so stingy but they claim to be under grace? If I deed grace is operating in your life you will want yo give to Give more than ten percent. The grace of God soften the heart and make you generous in giving.

If you feel happy when pastors teach against paying tithes to God, you must be honest to yourself and check the condition of your heart. Grace is not operational in your heart. Your heart is not generous, no generosity in your heart. 10% is too little to be complaining when it comes to giving to a God who gave us everything. The Lord Himself ñever prohibited people from paying tithes.

If you can't convince them, confuse them. The inception and genesis of tithing was based on the generosity of Abram. Out of his volition he decided to give a tenth of a spoil he got out of conquer. It wasn't his personal property. Abraham was blessed with a lot of possessions yet there is no documentation anywhere that he paid tithe out of it. Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega but he wasn't a levite and so was not qualify by the law of Moses to collect tithe. The law that prescribe the payment of tithe is the same law that require parents in Deuteronomy 21:18-21 to send their rebellious sons to the city gate so that they can be stoned to death. That same law forbids mix cropping but because they will not benefit the preacher directly, he will not touch it but rather engage in tortuous argument to make a point that doesn't exist.

Please reference us a passage where it stated that Jesus collected tithes. ..or even the Apostles for that matter.
However to answer your question please note the following:
      (1) Melchizedek is the first priest mentioned in the Bible, who lived in Abrahams days. He was not just a priest but also a king. Usually, in those days of the Old Testament, one is found to be either a priest or a king but not both.
Priests are from the tribe of Levi, hence the term Levite/Levitical Priesthood; and Kings from the tribe of Judah.
      (2) The FIRST and ONLY account of Abraham (Abram) paying tithes is in Genesis 14:20
      (3) NO EVIDENCE EXISTS OF HIM PAYING TITHES TO ANYONE AFTER THAT
Know God for yourself. Study the Bible yourself and stop depending men of God for the answers. Ask questions.

So where was tithes changed for money for the Christian..i believe in giving and we have been given many ways to do it..two notable ones are
2nd Corinthians 9:7, 2nd Corinthians 8:1- onwards etc..so if you wants to give 100% of your income to your church, that should be your cup of tea..but the truth must be told..meaning Christians paying tithes weekly and monthly is not biblical..and not because of stinginess but simply it is not true..the Apostle Paul saw the dangers of taking money roughly and he chosed to build tent for a living and rather preach to save souls not his pocket..Creflo dollar just made his coming out..ask me why all these..

Over 16 minutes and I have been able to watch everything and once again it the same old stuff.
He exaggerates a lots to a point where he realized he was shifting the focus from his main point where he had to throw in the tantrum of "Are you here with me".
He tackles spiritual things in the bible from time to time but goes about it wrongly. Teachings on tithe is a good thing as it separates greed from the actual purpose of the Gospel. Tithe is no more compelling this no more in effect but the video is not complete so I don't know his take on it.
Melchizedek is not Jesus who is also called the Christ, neither is he God. He was a symbolic representation of God the Father on earth. He is a mysterious character in the bible just as God is.
Now this is who he really was. Melchizedek was a man of flesh just as you and I are, however he often regarded as one who has no beginning. This is due to the fact that the bible bares no record of his birth not of his parents, therefore no one knew his very beginning.
Being described as one who has no end, is because the bible bears no record of his death, and he is without genealogy or descendants because he fathered no children but he already knew God the moment he is introduced in the bible ad Genesis 14.
But this is not that strange if you think about how God approached Abraham to move from Ur into a land He God will show him, and by faith Abraham obeyed accepted.
Melchizedek was king of salem which interprets as king of peace, he was a priest of God and King of righteousness. His righteousness shouldn't be a question because it was by faith that Abraham was deemed righteous by God.
Abraham upon returning from the freeing of his nephew Lot, met Melchizedek on the way. He blessed Abraham and Abraham gave him a tent portion of his spoils.
The result of this blessing brought the priesthood upon the house of Abraham of which the levites were chosen to be ordained of.
This continued for more than 1000 years till a time when God made a promise to ordain the one of whom the scepter belongs to as the new high priest of God. Psalm 110:4 because perfection was not attained during the levitical priesthood.
The levitical priesthood had commandments from the law to receive a tenth portion of all that his brethren will gain. However this was not forced upon them though binding.
For the sake of perfection, the office of the priest of the Most High God was ordained according to the order of Melchizedek who is already representative of God on earth.
Who better then to be ordained to acquire the office of the high priest of God than the one who is already baring the likeness of God (Christ Jesus) and he is from the tribe of Judah.
Concerning that tribe Moses never said anything about tithe, and now that there is a change in the priesthood there is also a necessity for a change in the law as well.

Melchizedek was a typology(like) of Christ not Christ, Just as Hagai and Sarah were a typology of the law and Grace. For you to understand Chapter 7 of Hebrews properly you have to understand who it was written to and why it was written what the writer was explaining,it has nothing to do with us laying tithe. In mine opinion all the long story is manipulative.
No were did the Bible say Melchizedek is Jesus Christ. Except we want to stretch the text beyond what is written and force our opinion into the text.

Did I say anywhere in my long manipulative text that Melchizedek was Christ Jesus?
You say a typology which if I understand well you mean to say he is a type of Christ, but the bible does not support this claim.
There is no one like Christ rather it is the Father whom Christ bares likeness to.
Melchizedek is a symbolic representation of God the Father and Christ being named a priest of the Most High God after the orderliness of Melchizedek glorifies the Father in position and Christ as the one chosen for that very office.
I did not force my understanding on scriptures or into my long manipulative text. Everything I posted is Hebrews7:1-17 in a summary.
But you didn't read had you done it, you would have known.
