Hi guys, It was great to meet you both today in the cafe. Your home looks awesome! If you're still in the area feel free to park up on our land. We have plenty of space and we can show you the tiny home. Jade x
Great video, as always, Sophie and Ryan.. Tash and Connor are a fab couple with a fantastic home. . Real vanlife friends🫶🏻, who inspired us when we were building Mavis. I'm sure this video will inspire many more 😊
Ive travelled the uk for the last 41 yrs in 15 different campers fabricating and installing zinc and copper roofs, parked in spots you could only dream about on grand design style houses..my last 5 vans have been merc t2, currently had my 709 9 yrs, the travelling roofers truck of choice ..might see you on site somewhere.
I think your home is lovely, and looks comfy. I love the bathroom and all the plants. It's a good lifestyle while you are you g and active. Enjoy your travels .
What a great van! Glad to see the amazing shower and toilet space. Thank you for showing us around and all the best. I've got a small roof job for you if you ever need to come to Bristol.. I'll do your laundry and recycling for you.. (:
Another cracking video guys, what a stunner of a van and lovely owners, Do these guys have contact details ? I think I put some roofing work their way next year in France 🤞 be a good road trip !
That was a great van & build. Van life is becoming more crowded everywhere I think. And more difficult, at least in the US. The recycling bugs me too. Love the color they chose for the van.
Just excellent!! My favourite one so far! Just one question.. What kind of motorcycle was that? Yes it's a Yamaha of some sort, but what variant? Simply fantastic work on the videos, we'll done.
I drove a 307D in the 80s and it was the most hated vehicle on the fleet - and my personal most hated thing I have ever driven. The headlights were like candles on a stormy night, the starter motor kept needing a good wallop, the gear selector mechanism was more of a hope than an active decision by the driver, and the engine noise from lack of insulation meant you couldn't hear yourself think let alone the radio... if it was working of course. However, this awesome couple have done a grand job with this variant and I wish them many happy miles.
@@doodlesbug I think the 307s were a smaller vans, but I never drove one. The 814 vario was a bit low geared for motorway work and I much more enjoyed the 814 truck, box wagon tbh. More comfortable and just better for the job.
@@WalksInCamera You're right, the 307 was similar sized to the Ford Transit of the day. The other vehicles we had then were Leyland Sherpa then it was a step up to Ford Cargo 7.5t. That would have been just about the time of the Ford/IVECO merger... blimey I feel old now!
I’d love one of those barriers to run lights and my shower at home it’s gotta to be cheaper then paying a leccy bill although mines only about £25 a month as I’m a cheap stake anyway 🤣, I’m even looking at buying some camping chargeable lights to use instead of main lights .
Lovely build. One question that will help me and maybe others. You need a residential address for the vehicle log book, a driving licence and insurance, as well as banks account, HMRC, etc etc. How you overcome this? Also how you access GP surgeries? Great vid. And safe adventures.
Great questions, As with most people who live in vans we luck only have relatives addresses to use for the important bits 🤟🏽 We’re still registered with our GP’s when we lived with relatives but touch wood we don’t go very often
Great video thanks. Love seeing other people with unconventional lifestyles. But hey, let's admit the career/mortgage thing provides a sensible pathway for most folks. If you're going to have a family and provide for yourself later, conventional works.
This are the same people in years to come to complain that they can't get in the property ladder... But they just put 33k in an old bus... But it's very unlikely they'll get 7-10k if they have to sale it. People demonise the brick and mortar, work, etc... But In reality, it's best to have options.
Hopefully the cult of home ownership will stop one day. Some of need to be strong enough to say no, I won't be trapped in a mortgage and one location for decades. @@zaneta3880
Completely agree it’s always good to have options, you never know what’s around the corner! We don’t like to plan too far ahead but with working hard and keeping money away for a rainy day keeps us happy. 😁
It's so annoying to be restricted by weight here in northern europe. I had to cancel half my build to avoid having to upgrading my drivers license, just to drive the van.
Off grid, alternative and community, three of the most annoying words regarding this subject... and of course put it all on insta.... then complain it's getting busier...
That 30k ish is well and good to put it on an old bus(reliable this types), but it's not like you arent throwing money down the drain. I do appreciate the utopia and the freedom (debatable) people seek, but the older you get and playing at carefree no roots earthling, the harder in your older days, to live a comfortable less stress life. You put any of this vehicles up for sale and you won't get much back. I have a self built camper cause I love the freedom... Bug I would never get rid of my home to just ride into the horizon... Yeah it's great, but I know people that lived that lifestyle and now they live in shared accommodation. Nowadays is harder to park whenever you want. But they said it's harder to get in the property ladder... But 30k is more than a deposit for a mortgage.. Unless you want to live in Belgravia...
Fully appreciate your comment and thanks for watching 🙂 We live by the belief we’re never promised tomorrow, we don’t like to get stuck in planning the future too much as we’ve seen it time and time again life can throw massive hurdles, we live living in the now 🫶🏼 great to hear you have a camper too, hope you enjoy your trips!
Yeah like that was like interesting like I like your like bus like van but like how do you like register like an address like with like full like time off like grid sort of like living?
Always a good option for people as well 🤟🏽 we just don’t want the tie and stress associated with it and this is what works for us whilst earning money on the road 🙂
How does that work? How long in does the waste stay on it and where do you put it afterwards? Are there any laws when it comes to disposing human waste? Also when one of you goes it must stink the whole van out.
They seem to get along and laugh a lot. I love the fold up bed they made! Bathroom ceiling is cool!
What an amazing couple and a great vanbuild.
Thank you so much for sharing.
Lovely couple living a great life. Super impressed with the shower and the bike!
Got to be one of the best builds out there👏👏 and a lovely couple.you could only wish them the best.🇮🇪

Hi Jade it was so lovely to meet you yesterday! Thank you so much that’s really kind of you, hopefully we see you again soon x
One of the best van builds I've seen. I'd do the same if I didn't have a mortgage and kids, hindsight is a marvellous gift. Enjoy the ride.
Love it 🎉 another brilliant video ❤ thanks Liveration for showing everyone how great vanlife life can be 👍

Love the channel you two! Always great content and love how your intro is always the same, and then you let the subjects of the video take ove4.
Learning so much from this couple , more about comparability than their home , lol.
What a lovely couple and amazing van .. wish you all the best living the dream 😎happy days ❤

Do these guys have contact details ? I think I put some roofing work their way next year in France 🤞 be a good road trip !
Nice setup...my first vardi was 4 metres long ... Probably a bit too big for my needs these days.
Love the colour, couldn't lose that in a car park!
Awesome Build Guys ❤❤❤
Love it! These Mecedes are getting more, and more popular. Kinging it did theirs beautiful.

absolute lovely van that is

Fist time I hear of a bathroom that can turn into a dry room. V. Interesting. 👍
Amazing van guys. Great video as always @liveration 👍

Love this channel! Content is always 👌
Love this video
Great video and a beautiful van
I've been busy over the last two videos but I'll catch up and add this one too! Binge night! 🤩
I had one of these vans, converted into a camper. At 48 miles an hour, the engine felt like it would run forever
1:00 Ooh, sliding cab door! 😊
I’ve got the same problem with recycling with my truck
Cool rig 😁👍
Really nice people & awesome van
Great to see you guys again cracking van...P.S. fruit and veg at Aldi is amazing wouldn't bother with the hassle of growing my own hahaha
Eh thanks Simon 🤟🏽 haha ideal will have to pop to Aldi 😜

Lovely couple, van and video guys. I’d love to know where this was shot. I’m van living in Cornwall too ❤
Used to drive one of these in the 90's as a delivery van. Seemed solid and well made and they've converted it really well.

As long as you don’t mind having to move to a new location constantly..
Really hard to find a link to these guys
Not really park anywhere because there is alot of restrictions on campervans staying overnight
Fingers up to Bills
like & love it 👍 ❤
Everyone to their own but it not nicer than a house is it, it’s a sacrifice for the lifestyle you chose and that’s your choice
Do they both drive the van?
We do indeed! Both had to take our C1 license for the beast 🤟🏽
