It was a basic question about the Lydian mode which I've known inside and out since 10th grade. Those were the things that stood out to me. I didn't get an offer, which is fine. I was just curious to interview there. Mainly that girl rolling her eyes made me not want to work there, I didn't care much about the other thing.
I've worked there, and yeah it is cool and interesting, but it's nothing special. Higher pay is balanced with more hours, so you can get the same salary at any another place by taking same extra hours. Corporate benefits are superb and quite neat for a newbie, but they are not really getting you anywhere financially speaking.

Strategies: - Pay your creditcard debt (preferably in full every month, or as much as you can) Money lost to interest is the worst way to let banks win - Keep as much of your cash in investment accounts that accrue interest if possible - If your job pays into an account, have cash paid into your Access account and transfer whatever you wont need to spend before the next paycheque into your investment account - If possible, invest any "excess" cash into managed funds or shares if you know a bit about the Stockmarket and are confident All of this ensures that you pay less interest on credit cards (preferably none) and claim a bit of cashback if you have a rewards card. Your cash will be protected from inflation if you invest in non cash investments, and you can put some aside for emergencies in the bank and have it accrue interest there. That's how you make your bank accounts work for you. Of course if your financial position or employment status doesn't allow you to take this advice, then you should implement as strict as possible budgeting and obviously try to find employment (one or if needed two or more jobs) as quickly as possible. There is a way to make banks work for you, and there isn't much of a reason to be paying money to banks instead of the other way around
