Kyunki usme 50-100 questions aapko mil jayenge, aur utne questions kaafi honge to build confidence for that chapter.

Hi ! Amit this side, actually I haven't started my preparation properly yet and my college exams are coming in a week. Although I am enrolled in a coaching centre and I have attended classes there but I haven't revised the topics after classes so I don't remember most of it. I can't figure out how to tackle this situation. Should I focus on my college exams or start my cat prep from very beginning.

Is it good for preparation of quant?
I have a question about selection criteria. like my academics are 82.40% in 10th, 73.17% in 12th and right now I'm pursuing bcom according to last sem my avg cgpa is around 8.85 and avg percentages are 72 so even if I get good percentile and i received call from iim abc Or any top college is there any chance by which I will get an admission in top b school?? because I recently checked one website where I put my academics and they showed that I won't get calls from any top school!! additionally I did the business management courses and I am currently pursuing Advanced Excel and advance in power point and additionally I did 2 internships related to marketing.

Luck should be on your side do not expect moderate papers, shocks like 2023 appear, maintain a percentile of min 98 if you're a GEM otherwise not even great lakes will offer you admission even after a good interview. Also if you have gap years, you're seriously screwed until and unless you have done something hatke during those years, make sure you have a proper explanation for that. Especially for General Engineering Males, this system is designed specifically to weed you out, so be a national level athlete or do something national level so that the system can't touch you. Or go even higher do something international level. Signing off,

Ma'am as u mentioned, we are to do easy questions, won't we look at the difficult and the medium ones at all. Like for example, should I only do the LOD 1 of all the chapters for quants from Arun Sharma's book. Will that be enough?

@@sanjanasoni-hk9ln i started preparing in march from arun sharma and excel sheet which mam provided it I did 2 3 concept videos everyday then there were 1126 questions of arithmetic in arun sharma book so I did 20 questions everyday for 2 months 56. When I was doing LOD1 it took my max 40 min but when I was doing LOD2 that took around 1 2 hours max.
mam i can manage everything but quant...can you please suggest me if i should practice it from your excel sheet or buy lectures of TIME? PLUS I AM GOING TO APPEAR FOR CAT 2026 BUT I AM ALSO A STUDENT OF CMA(i thought it can give you an idea of what should i opt for)

Revision on a regular basis is the key. Refer to the part of this video where I mention the formula book. That will ensure you don't face this issue.

Can you please help me out with DILR? I don't have a damn clue about it. I don't know how to start. I'm getting comfortable with VARC and I'm sure that soon, I'll get comfortable with Quats too, but I'm really having a lot of difficulties in DILR. I can't understand a thing and I don't have a single clue about it. Oh btw, I'm a non engineer:) So I'm facing a bit more issues on such quant based sections.

I can totally understand because DILR is a different game altogether. There's a very simple thing I learnt about DILR very late during my prep - it takes a lotttt of practice and a variety of questions to get a hang of it.
There is no faster way of grasping the concepts. The more you solve the more you're able to intuitively understand it. Having said that, try noticing 2 things in every question - 1. how the diagram/table was made 2. where was the solution to be started from. Just by noticing these 2 you will be able to develop a pattern that will help.
But remember, it takes time. And it is normal to not get it at all in the beginning.
