    Holes like those with Congs would be impossible to drill especially by using bamboos and conundrums.

      Your really funny..... You think bamboo would cut rock???? No....holes were drilled by tools..not bamboo.

      It would indeed be impossible to drill with conundrums. With a mineral like corundum, however....

      They use stone disk with sand like particles from various materials to grind the jade bit by bit. It's a slow and tedious process. As for right now, such technique has been lost. The illustration of the techniques can be found from a book titled Chinese Technology in the Seventeenth Century by Yinxing Song, which I believe this guy is it as a reference for this presentation.
