Those were my thoughts exactly until I was sitting right at the beginning of the parade and a black man had to say “I’m gonna sit here with my people, I see more blacks sitting here than I do whites.” To be fair, he was right, I was the only Whitey sitting there at the time but the old puke made me sick to my stomach when I heard that come out of his mouth. These people just prove to me every day that we can’t just be Americans, Nebraskans, or even Omahans. We have to be white or black or from north, south, east, or West Omaha. Ruined the parade for me
