He reminds me of Snuffkin when he is just randomly fishing. The actor is good and sounds like a worldly traveller. This show set up several characters that are usually underutilised but are amazing. It is a great shame how it was cancelled over some tax nonsense. The cast was good, the writing was good, the outfits and effects were great. It truly is sad to see such a great potential of a show wasted whilst so many other weaker shows get several seasons. Derek Mears, who played Swap Thing is a fairly cool guy who enjoys playing these type of characters. He was great as Reboot Jason Voorhees. Wasted potential.
I had reservations about watching a show that legit will only last 1 season, like there's not much incentive to watch if you only get to see 13 episodes of something. That being said the more clips I watch the more I actively want to watch this.
@@ThePartisan13 I just finished the season. It was amazing. Granted, there're a lot of unresolved plots so it feels like an unfinished story but they were clearly intending to build up so much more in other seasons. The actors/actresses were great too.
Next incarnation of The phantom stranger should be played by micheal c. hall. If he could play dexter morgan (among other roles of course) he can MOST CERTAINLY play The phantom stranger
with cirsis on infinite earths showing swamp thing has his own earth they can still a potential cross over or small continuation liek 90s flash, reeve/routh superman and smallville especially with characters like oliver queen now the spectre and phantom stranger can appear in any multiverse they can do it. next multiverse like crisis with cw and dc universe app plans for better collaboration i could see an event with dc universe shows (doom patrol, this, upcoming stargiril and titans.) appear on the cw dc shows.
No, no, no, heavens no, that Trinity of Sin crap ruined the characters of both The Question and also Phantom Stranger, they turned The Question into some time displaced ancient warrior, and eliminated the mysterious nature of the Phantom Stranger, before, no one was sure where the Stranger came from or what he was, (both inside comic continuity, and outside) and that was the point, he was supposed to be mysterious, illusive, klandestine, that's why he had four origins, that were all equally possibly true, and also equally possibly false, but TOS came in and made him Judas Iscariot ..... Nope, keep that drivel away, better yet, toss it into a fire and stomp on its ashes, that way no one will remember it.
@@alltheworldsastage4785 I can't defend what they did to the Question I'll give you that but the Phantom Stranger on the other hand. Since the Trinity of sin story there's been a lot of inconsistency in the story to the point where references to the older origins have popped up implying that his origin in the ToS is just another ruse and isn't the real origin so yeah.
@@alltheworldsastage4785 No hopeing required it's basically been confirmed that the ToS origin is just another one of the other stories which is to say are probably not his true origin

@@alltheworldsastage4785 the Phantom Stranger literally job is to keep balance of the multiverse not to go around looking flashy. He can appear in any form to do his job.
No its just the original actor for the movie, this clip has cut a few of the bits of dialog between Blue and the Stranger where he first arrives and Blue is complaining about the useless actor whose having an argument with someone with a lot of expressive arm waving and blue says that's the most acting hes seen him do all movie.
"Wayne" the actor is his friend, they were a team, along with his girlfriend Sharon. Helps Cassidy deal with all the weird events that his powers attract. At least in the original comic book

God I miss Swamp Thing, it had everything from DC Dark, except Zatanna, Constantine, Fate, Spectre, and Etrigan
the spectre should've been shown in constantine S2, if you've watched constantine S1, you'll understand what i've said
@@spiderjerusalem4009 Constantine literally had dr fate and spectre but they had to cancel it
What a wasted opportunity...
The Green will remember this.
Yup they threatened the green

He did play Dr Kirk Langstrom.
Wait that was phantom stranger????? Wow
Yeah, I don't think they really captured the character
I have been off the last two weeks because of travel I'll get up this week
