It;s really fucking dumb that an absolutely world class singer or someone wi8th just an incredibly unique voice could just be sent home because 'oops sorry, everyone already used up all their arbitrary number of turns'.
That "A Thousand Miles" audition was pitchy at times. Also, that coach singing along with the performance. "Dragostea Din Tei", "The Sound of Silence" and "Careless Whisper" for this compilation stood out.
The "Take on me" arrangement was really nice and his voice was clean and crisp but if you are going to sing that song then the high note is mandatory. Doesnt matter how well you sing the song, if you dodge the high note the song falls flat

His "choice" was the best he could make while showing off some range, and flexibility as a young singer.
