I drove far into Russia for 6 years from 2006 until 2012 regurlarly delivering young dairy heifers to farms and liked it there. Met lots of nice people . Only good memories from these trips.
My cousin had a great life there as a teacher. Until they kicked his ass out of the country in a heartbeat. He even married a Russian girl while he lived there.

However past 15 years has been enormous decline in quality of life in europe. In russia people are different, they dont only care about the living standards.
