I think the legit reason might be because production was anticipating the worker strikes, but I have a hunch they also didn’t want to piss off Amanda. Production clearly love that she makes good TV and see All Stars potential in her, but they’ve also learned that she’s very… let’s say sensitive, and they didn’t want a second Vixen situation. It’s probably also why they inexplicably got rid of the Golden Boot after three seasons, because having a reunion without discussing Amanda vs. Plane, or awarding the Golden Boot to another queen would be very suspicious to fans, so they probably thought it best to just ditch both entirely.
I feel so cheated that amanda went home so early. I wanted a few more episodes of plane and amanda going back and forth. And i was living for Mirage too. We want more drama!
I want more queens like Mistress...she's not only shady, but funny, likable, and has heart, like a lot of the best shady queens of the past. Plane's schtick was shallow and boring. She didn't have the spark some of the best villains of the past had.
I'm surprised by how little discussion there has been about the final lip sync itself. I was gobsmacked by both Nymphia and Sapphira (but especially Nymphia.) Everything Nymphia did, from her ultra tight lip syncing, expressions, acting like a fool, REVEALS, dancing (I lived for how sl*tty she was being, did not see that coming and neither did Michelle and Carson lol), then that final split, pony flick, and goofy ah smile she gave. Utter perfection. And Sapphira was dancing like a mf badass, and I thought the vampire fangs were a kooky and fun interpretation of the lyrics. But it wasn't a big subject on the Pit Stop or Roscoe's.
The Pit Stop is barely even about the episode itself anymore. They spend around 10 of the 30 minutes just catching up. The fact that this was one of the best lip syncs for the crown since S9 and they only spoke about it for around 30 seconds? Trash

As far as the Golden Boot award for the season, even though Amanda’s look as the purple alien being inside of giant doll (?) was “unexpected”, as was her “blue egg” look, those are both at least interestingly conceptual looks. You can analyze them visually and figure them out how you wish, especially the bird’s nest. That was just interesting to look-over. My mom is a costume designer, and said she was inspired by that!!
Meanwhile… in terms of just plain BAD fashion, not even conceptual looks, I think everyone would agree Plasma’s black & white look was pretty… dismal. Like, at least Amanda’s looks were WEIRD and we can stand behind THAT fact. Lol. Plasma looked like… I don’t even know. The Penguin from Batman, after a decade as a crackhead? The Penguin Marilyn Manson… meets Cher in Hot Topic in hell?💀

I went to the season 7 filming and it took like 5 hours to film. It was cool but honestly a little exhausting. They asked us to scream so many times and I went home without a voice lol. When they call Pearl hot, they cut the camera to me waving my hand in agreement lol.

There is a certain nuance when you throw some playful shade and cut up and kiki with your friends and Plane totally lacks that. Plane Jane would get defensive whenever anyone would flip it back at her and she would also punch Amanda down. The fact that she said she "didn't respect her" on the show was just vile. And there is no comparing Plane with Mistress Isabelle Brooks because unlike Plane, Mistress is charming and can poke fun at herself before she teases others. I'm sure if Plane Jane was fat, a POC or a trans person she would probably get an even stronger backlash too. #realtalk
