- ■ CULIACAN, MEXICO: Before going to Mexico a haircut was long overdue. I resisted the urge to trim my long luscious locks though, hoping there'd be street barbers in some of the smaller towns. Since that wasn't the case, my number one priority upon reaching the city of Culiacan was to get a proper haircut.
Whilst shopping for a Dorados De Sinaloa soccer jersey in a market in the centre of town I stumbled upon a newly opened barber with unbeatable prices.

@Manchagojohnson Manchago Some are. Depending on what part of Mexico you are in. I live in El paso, TX, so Juarez, Mexico is our next door neighbors and I do have to say go there and you will see the ugly side of people from Mexico.

@@chrisxmichael88 ah sounds nasty, yeah i guess regional differents and attitudes can vary greatly in some countires.. other countires are quite consistant.. i havent been to mexico.. but i did notice the attitude and principals of different mexicans were very varied... while central americans - guatemala, nicaragua, el slavadore and honduras... seemed much more homogenious (mostly not in a good way) at first glance juarez looks like a pretty nasty city too... industrial, corrupt, transient population ect.. maybe they see you as being a "mexican who made it" ect and are jelous.. you can get that attitude... and give you some extran hostile treatment, ive seen it in some.countries in asia too, phillipines and vietnam for examples. People resentful of their shitty sotuations.. ill have to go and see mexico i think to get a clearer opinion of it... but based on what ive seen of bolivia that place aint good.. some countries.. vietnam, south korea .... south sudan... the people are just nasty as a majority no matter what.. and good nature or openess is rare... other places that are considered very unpleasent.. like pakistan.. for some reason as a tourist you are treated very well while a returning pakistani is treated like shit..

As a native from Sinaloa, it was amazing seeing my city from someone else’s point of view. Mass media makes it seem like Sinaloa is a warzone, when in reality it’s not. The food is out of this world. The people are friendly and love to have a drink and party.

@@3chrizzl It's called "Raspado". It's a drink made of shaved ice mixed with the flavor You want (Apple, Orange, pineapple, etc). The one he is drinking was mixed with pineapple, coconut and caramel milk.
@@jesusibs wouldn't be my first choice, but it would be easier to eat if you knew what it was! I would prefer a plain fruit one! I know enough Spanish that I could have at least asked a few questions. Thanks for the explanation!

What was it?
@@Neymarlegend21 it's a raspado, basically a snow cone, what they put on top was coconut and leche quemada, which is some sort of caramel, similar to cajeta. I was actually surprised he didn't like it, it's very sweet. Culiacán gets hot af during the spring and summer so they are a popular snack
He literally picked the flavor that no was full the most, maybe lots of other people didn't like it either so didnt get it.

There's plenty to experience from a culture other than their food. I don't know why everyone cares so much that my dude wants to stay in his comfort zone, he's not going about it like a jerk. Also these people are from the other side of the world from Mexico, they aren't as familiar with Mexican food as us Americans are. Harald didn't even know what a quesadilla is.

And tbh alot streetfood you can find in foreign countries can have weird effects on some peoples stomachs, it doesnt have to be that its bad food, its just that the stomach can act really weird if you all of the sudden starts to eat food your body is not used to and they are constantly moving around traveling so it would be awful having diarea or cramps and not be able to leave the toilet. Like my friend comes from Denmark and when we travelled to India and ate spicy food his stomach would act up since in Denmark they barely eat that kind of food.
