I don't even know how to say this... last fall (2020) I happened on your channel thinking I would see an enjoyable episode that would give me a few minutes respite from worry and anxiety over my husband's strange health problems. What I watched was the first 4 episodes of your and Jason's journey. I broke down sobbing as I realized the undiagnosed symptoms my husband has been experiencing for the past few years mirrored those of Jason. It was both terrifying and a huge relief to at least know there was a name for this disease process. My husband is also a vet so you will understand when I say that we have begun the Very Long process of seeking a diagnosis amid many obstacles. I think we finally have a good medical team who are interested in my husband's health. I feel you guys were sent directly to my eyes, by God, just at a time I was ready to give up hope. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Best wishes for your anniversary and your life from the Hash family in Texas.❤

My husband passed a few months ago. But I wanted to share this with you. I tried really hard to be gentle and patient when he would have one of those mean moments that comes out of nowhere. But with my husband, I found that when I told him that he was being not nice and that I would not tolerate it, the response from him was good. I think he didn’t realize that he was behaving in a hurtful way. Every couple is different but this worked for us. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with others. It meant so much to me knowing I was not alone. It was an honor to walk him home to Jesus.

Becky. I lost my dear husband in January to LBD As well. He only got angry a couple times. Usually when he was in the hospital. I cried and he eventually calmed down. He was the sweetest most caring man ever. That’s why I couldn’t not react. It was a long hard road but we remained happy just to be together. I always remained patient with him and truly cherished every day we had together. The hardest part for me was when he’d have paranoi and didn’t think I was his wife. I too had the honor of caring for him and helping him fly to Jesus. We had 27 beautiful years together. We truly honored our vows In sickness and in health, til death do us part.

Thank you for making these videos. My husband was a Vietnam vet and when I happened to come upon your videos I finally realized that my husband 's illnesses were from a diagnosis of Lewy Body Dementia that a Dr had mentioned to us about 5 years before. It is a very strange illness that is so hard to deal with if you don't know what is going on. I finally understood all the different things my husband was going through , no fault of his own. Unfortunately it wasn't long enough for us to really understand what was happening before he started having strokes and passed away in December 2020. It helps to know that this is getting out and there are reasons for these behaviors and many other problems that are caused by this illness.

You 2 are experiencing something that no one would want. I know you try and keep up. And your smile is so pretty. I think the hardest thing about this is the not knowing the future. Unfortunately he has become extremely delusional and believes I have been having affairs all our married life, which is so untrue. We are battling with getting him the help he needs and deserves, I so agree with you ,Neil you live it you have no idea what it is like. We have the Mental health team coming in on Monday to hopefully schedule him for a full medical assessment. You two are the cutest! I just went through a month and a half saga with my husband (42 days in the hospital), now home recovering. It really makes you stop and think about what's important in life and what isn't. Happy, Happy Anniversary! xo

My father was just recently diagnosed with Lewy Body. He has been battling this for years with no diagnosis. He was finally able to find a doctor who was willing to help him and get to the bottom of the issue. My mom has been his rock through it all. She was shattered by the news. Your videos give me hope and comfort. My dad is 55 and has severe symptoms. Thank you for sharing your journey.

Thank for your postings and videos. It really helps that others feel these frustrations too. The up downs and inconsistency of not knowing what moods the loved one will be in is very hard. It's very hard to describe to someone who hasn't seen it first hand. Sometimes others can think you are exaggerating because they cannot understand the complete turn around of your loved one. I send love and complete understanding. 🤗❤

I love your showing this journey , love how you’ve both accepted the diagnosis and are so positive, Ive worked with dementia for many many years and I see people in the later stages of dementia so it’s fascinating to me to watch and listen Jason and see how it affects him in the early stages. This will help so many people as your keeping it real. Stay positive xxx

There's no other way to describe you two, other than to say your are a real blessing. To know what you're going through and still have a great sense of humor is remarkable. I have a family member with LBD and to see his what his wife goes through and she is holding it together better than anyone I know even though his LBD has really gotten bad. I pray for all of you, and hope your light keeps shining. Thank you for sharing your time and your story. ❤️ Happy Anniversary to you both! 🌹
