  • Largemouth Bass fishing in Hydrilla on Florida's Lake Toho and the Kissimmee Chain of Lakes. Hydrilla is most abundant in the Fall, when it's had all summer to grow in our 90+ degree water temps. In this video, we're on West Lake Toho catching a few early topwater Bass, followed by a long hot day of fishing outside hydrilla lines and off shore hydrilla beds. A Texas rigged DOA Lures 8" CAL (trick worm) did the trick.
    Be sure to watch til the end... The very end!

    I started making my own screw-in bullet weights. Pen spring stretched out, and super glue work great. But you have to unplug the hole after the glue dries.

    Was a pleasure to fish with you Chuck, enjoyed the stories and the fishing.
    Anyone looking for a straight up guide in the Orlando area needn't look any further than Mr. Pippin.
    On a side note, what deodorant do you use? Was hoping I could purchase a stick here in Canada so that I could sniff it (daily) to relive the memory of our time together.
    Not, like in a weird way.

    Hey Chuck - really enjoy your videos. You asked for suggestions for new videos - what about one that provides your strategy, season by season, on a Fl. lake like Toho or Kissimmee? E.g. depth of water fished, primary baits that season, other tips. As you've said, Florida fishing is unlike other States because the shallow water in most FL lakes changes things substantially. Thoughts? Thanks, Tom

    Used to fish Toho every weekend, moved back to CA due to a job transfer and ran into a wall of regulations and sold the Triton :(

      priushater well that sucks. CA has some good fish, but regulations can hold you back.

    chuck, been fishing your swimming worms shallow the last two weeks or so. they hold up well in the bullrush, buggy whip and all, but im having more trouble than i want to admit hooking up. am barely skin hooking the worm to get the hook to come out at all. still having trouble. whats the secret with your special mix?

    • @ChuckPippinBassFishing
      @ChuckPippinBassFishing  Рік тому

      Sorry for the delayed response. Just seeing your message. That PMR floating plastic is pretty tough. I try to use a light wire hook, if I can get away with it, to get better hook ups.
