memory lane ended in the 90,s in cornwall ,too commercialised now ,not like the old cornwall .

shame newquay has been ruined commercially, it was so nice from the 60,s till late 90,s not much of the original town left now ,most famous old hotels derelict ,falling to pieces and holiday parks gone now ,even the shops are now food /coffee shops or they have closed down ,during your walk ,fat willys t shirt shops are down to one now I think .now the town is a junkies/drunkards paradise, drug capital of uk.yes,such a shame .your walk showed us how much change had been made .cornwall has certainly changed,you should do some more around cornwall ,you will be shocked at what you see and how much other towns have changed ,
live in Newquay, and I can tell you now a lot of what you said is not true. There's loads of wine bars and restaurants opened up in town, it has a thriving night life, even in the winter.
The drunks are mainly tourists, stag and hens etc. Yes there is drugs in Newquay, just like everywhere around the country, even in your town. Newquay is a buzzing place for it’s residents and tourists. So I suggest you do a bit more research before commenting.
The whole country is full of junkies. Especially the Houses of Parliament
