it is a very good matchup. explosion bug is so cheese on her. bipedial flying wyverns are by far the easiest monster to grab all the extracts on fast and consistently and 90 percent of gold rathians moves are so easy to rev up an AKA and be pretty safe. sometimes even get the explosion and gather your extracts for another AKA. goofiest glaive matchup ever lol
Great run! Also, the Wilds insect glaive is looking awesome, but i do hope Awaked Kinsect Attack and Powder Vortex return either in base or the expansion. I'm all for the World's(and now Wilds'), more grounded style of gameplay but I think switch skills are things that mhr sunbreak did very well! Either way, can't wait to bring hunting horn alongside my insect glaive in Wilds. What is the weapon combo you'll looking forward to try first, Pragles?
thank you! and wilds glaive is truy looking amazing. the screwdriver move is fucking hilarious along with alot of other interesting new moves they showed in the trailer. descending thrust being back as well is amazing. knowing that diving wyvern will out of the game is the best news i've seen all from wilds so far lol they'll probably keep the powder bug still, but i'd be surprised if they did add back powder vortex and AKA.
@@Pragles yeah, diving wyvern i could take or leave. i prefer descending thrust by a lot. the screwdriver did look funny as fuck, probably a mounting finisher? at any rate, at first i thought that i would use the second weapon mechanic to bring just a second glaive because that's that i use 90% of the time but now that i watched the hunting horn trailer, that's what my second weapon gonna be
How did you managed to get 300+ per hit with Awakened kinsect and make Rathian not destroy your powders? Even using the Amatsu Glaive i can't get more than 250 per hit. Also one of the Rathian fireballs hitted the powder and it didn't explode?
i used the electric narwa glaive with max element augs, and supercharge deco. that's what you need to do that amount of damage for this fight. and at 0:22, some of the powders in the back did explode. the only reason i can explain as to why all of them didn't explode was because those ones that exploded at 0:22 were most likely far enough from the other ones to not detonate them
@@honezone2266 yes but only your weapons base element. element augment tho do count towards the damage as well. anything else that is a skill like fire attack 5, ele exploit, strife etc does nothing to the damage for awakened kinsect

one last note as well. powders have a couple of seconds of invulnerability when they come out to where even glaive swings can't detonate them
