He changed this track up quite a bit. Cutting it up, looping, tempo breakdowns, additional samples, and remixing. Just saying he much more than just rapped on top of the existing track. A/B it from the original. Ren made it his own for sure.
Dancing around the kitchen, and making supper for my grandsons. They're looking at me like I'm nuts 🤦🏼♀️😁😂💃 I love this song so much! ***Ren... You're a frickin' beast!!***. Nice reaction, Crypt!!
I looooove Genesis and definitely think it should be on the list! I would also say What You Want is another song that bounces (like elastic) in a different rap-genre direction and could be a fun follow-up to Losing It.
You've hit on a lot of the rap stuff he does (I mean there is more damn good stuff still to do) but I think switching it up for some of his more singing stuff would be a nice treat. I really like Chalk Outlines, How To Be Me, Dominoes, Humble, Ocean, Diazepam.... etc. Some of his busking stuff would be fun to watch too, check out most of his stuff with Sam Tompkins and/or his group The Big Push. Lot more rap stuff too like Power, Genesis, Money Game 1 and 2... soo soo sooooo much more.
The parts that he went Red Light Green Light that beat was NOT from Fisher's track, I believe he edited that in himself as he is a producer and makes all his own music (other than ones like this obviously) The snare rolls in triplets was not in the original either. That Fisher track was in like Every DJ's arsenal when it came out as it hit #1 in the charts all over. So to take something like that, and make THIS out of it? Fkn brilliant! Ren can get all flibbity all he wants, let the man FLEX!
Gahhh, great reaction. I get hype watching other people get as excited as I did the first time I hear each of his...songs or compositions or whatever you want to call them, because man. They're more than songs. They're performance art, too. Loved "pop myself in the head for revenge" after, "Pop one, pop two, drop three men. Click click, pop one again." Only thing I got super excited about that I don't think you mentioned was "I'm about to go beast mode. I'm about to go Macbeth!" But maybe that only makes me happy because my husband is in a traveling Shakespeare Troupe. 😅 I guess you could say he got flibbity jibbity in this one, but I don't even mind it when he does it because he adds so many nuances & so many witty little quips, and like you said, so much personality to it & he doesn't take himself seriously when he gets all show-offy, which also makes me feel like it's a joke, and he's in on it, and he more than makes up for it with the insane flow switches. Totally different side of him in this one that I haven't seen yet, as usual. The only tracks I've heard from him that have anything in common or could be considered similar stylistically are his ballads, like Chalk Outlines and I Forgot How To Be Me. Even then, they're still so unique and full of substance. Anyway, enjoyed the reaction.
It amazes me that Fisher hasnt seen this and re released it as I honestly think it would be a huge hit and do better in the charts than the original, which was already a banger! Ren does a lot of music than hits you emotionally, but tracks like this show that he has so many sides to his talent, he truly hits EVERY emotion including the fun stuff!
This is the most fun out of his raps. Especially when people listen to The Hunger and are like "ok.. yeah, he can rap..." like.... nah, you don't understand, check this other song... and there is no fluff. He's just a freaking master of his crafts, plural.
Yeah dude!!!!! Crypt bro, you totally get how, as a hiphop-head, how fcking cool this is. You're obsevations about the flow switches are obviously true - they are wild.
Great reaction, 👌 and yes, Tom Cruise starred in the 2003 "Last Samurai" Ren has posted over 60music vids, on YT, including a few covers. There's 2 great YT interviews Ren's done with Justin Hawkins Rides Again, an Knox Hill. Ren goes into his life, music influencers. in great detail. Ren is basically "Old School" 😊
Great reaction and your little personal snippet at the start was the first time I've heard your stuff. Very cool! I'll check out more of your stuff, Crypt.
“Back on the Ren train”? Everyone got on that train and never got off lol I’m here for it. Love seeing people’s opinions about his music and how you guys break it down and each person always finds something someone else may have missed
i was blown away by your Falling In Reverse Cover, and because u said u loved metal before hip hop, u might wanna check out Ren and his Band The Big Push - War Pigs (Black Sabbath cover)
You’ve heard him rap. Now you need to hear him sing. Check out his busking band, The Big Push or some of his collaborations with other artists (Chalk Outlines -LIVE and How to be Me -also LIVE). Both of those collabs are with Chinchilla, who also has an incredible voice.
I saw this and later watched your Hi Ren reaction. I was shocked that you were friends with Paul McBeth and didn't catch Ren talking about going Beast Mode...going McBeth. Of course, it's a double also talking about MacBeth...who killed the king, which is the point of the entire song. You talk about going flippity, hippity, and I think there is way more meaning than you caught. How does it start? Fe fi fo fum, who's that kid that comes from Brighton? He's the giant. He's scheming to be taking the throne. So prolific. Quickest in Britain. The most explosive. Then there are the cultural references. Again, he's talking about being up there with the greats. Keizer Chief, Scooby Doo, Poltergeist, the Fugees, Morgan Freeman, Shawshank Redemption, Rag'n'Bone Man, Jean Claude Van-Dam, Sting/Roxanne, Macbeth/McBeth, Quinton Tarantino, Tom Cruise, Vanilla Sky, The Last Samurai, Mission Impossible, Drake/Non-Stop, Shaggy/Mr. Lover Lover, Eminem/Venom, Squid Games, David Beckham, New Kids On The Block, Godzilla, A gorilla in the jungle, Lord of the rings, Stevie Wonder/Superstition. Well played, Ren. Well played.
I haven't really heard any reactors talk about the line "I'm the Godzilla of the come up" and I'm curious if I'm the only one that feels that he might be shouting out Eminem's "Godzilla" since we know Em is one of his influences? Maybe I'm the only one? Great reaction! I love anything Ren does! He's just amazing and can't wait for Money Game 3 and he is going to reward his subs with 4 new songs (I think from the new album) and put them out 1 a week, every week, for 4 weeks straight if he reaches 1 million subs on UA-cam in the next about 25 days. When I checked today he only needs 8k more subs to get there! We need to make this happen!
The original mix of this song is a very popular Dance Tune by Fisher from 2018, you almost definitely heard it from clubs/festivals etc w/o necessarily knowing who made it, especially since it's EDM and probably not your normal genre. Love the original myself, but this is just next level, adds to much more. Great reaction, it's just a super fun song start to finish with amazing energy.
Yo I expected you to kill the spitting in “Watch the world burn” but your singing & growls were the most impressive. You have a great voice. Would love to hear you with a metal band, but I’m an old fart from the Nu Metal era. 🤘🏻
Great explanation about how he adds lots of little flare to the song, it's not just one thing, it's a lot of little things. Question/Thought - Beastie Boys Paul's Boutique, arguably one of the most influential albums in hip-hop, was their first real venture into sampling, in fact if I'm not mistaken aren't they credited with bringing sampling into hip-hop? I know that the album did not do well at the time and was considered a poor sophomore outing, with critics tearing them apart for all the samples, saying they were gimmicky and immature, 5yrs later you couldn't find a hip-hip or rap track that didn't have at least one sample clip on it. Anyway, Ren has said the Beastie Boys were a big influence when he first got turned on to hip-hop, do you think what you were describing as Ren adding lots of subtle flare to his beats comes from, at least in part, from his Beasties influence??
You wanted to know how much of the production ren does....im pretty sure he does it all. LOL the guys a genius. And hes has such crappy health at the moment. Guy never feels sorry for hinself and his music speaks for itself. Honestly i love these reacts because seeing people gets hyped up gets yourself hyped all over again. Btw your music doesnt sound to shabby either!!!! Im definitely gonna go check out some of your uploads 😊
Great reaction bro once again Try his one take video of Right Here Right Now by Fat boy Slim It's classic and how here can remember all the lines in a one take videos is beyond me and you don't see a lot of artists do that which makes another reason why Ren is so good
Please react to Ren and Sam busking in the street, mans world ... on basic equipment, what you see is it, and the wheelbarrow in the background is how they moved their equipment 😮
Dude, when I watch your videos and your original songs I feel the same way… you do so much I can’t wait to hear what you do next man.. you may not be able to roll your r’s but you can sink into a role and make me believe and feel the emotion or feeling that you are emitting… lots of people can toss words together on a beat but, not everyone can make you feel the emotion through the words… you do that… .. um yeah ok…
Usually when a reactor starts a video w their own song clip I'm waiting for it to be over...yours tho ..I Will be checking out your stuff. I Really dig what I heard in those few seconds
The original track by fisher is very different to this. Ren has made his own track using just a few samples from Fishers loosing it, including the vocal. Great reaction fella, love your energy.
Perhaps you should listen to the fisher track again. It's very similar, though Ren did add a little extra to the music aside from the killer lyrics, of course.
Another great reaction my guy react to domino’s or chalk outlines I think you need to do some deep emotional tracks. 2 other good remakes are bitter sweet sympathy and right here right now

I've been sleeping on you man. I thought you were just a rapper. That clip at the beginning was unexpected. Your metal skills are pretty impressive.
He changed this track up quite a bit. Cutting it up, looping, tempo breakdowns, additional samples, and remixing. Just saying he much more than just rapped on top of the existing track. A/B it from the original. Ren made it his own for sure.
The line "I'm fuckin' It up like I made it"
Dancing around the kitchen, and making supper for my grandsons. They're looking at me like I'm nuts 🤦🏼♀️😁😂💃
I love this song so much! ***Ren... You're a frickin' beast!!***. Nice reaction, Crypt!!
Great reaction, thanks! Please do Ren’s Genesis next ❤
I agree with this. Genesis will be your favourite I reckon.
Genesis is a Revelation
^This
I looooove Genesis and definitely think it should be on the list! I would also say What You Want is another song that bounces (like elastic) in a different rap-genre direction and could be a fun follow-up to Losing It.
I'd do the live version too. They're quite different.
You've hit on a lot of the rap stuff he does (I mean there is more damn good stuff still to do) but I think switching it up for some of his more singing stuff would be a nice treat. Not many people know but there is a Frisbee disc golfer named Paul McBeth and his nickname is 'Beast Mode'
Ren is absolutely amazing. He's a genius. He literally does it all.
Ren is so special...great reaction thanks for sharing this king
This one of my favourites from Ren so catchy love it love from Melbourne Australia knackers 👏🇦🇺❤️
You yelling "Stop it!" when Ren switches his flow AGAIN is so relatable 😂 the man is a menace and I fucking love it.
ngl, whatever you sang on the intro, god damn that gave me some nostalgia might have a look at ur music ;)
It amazes me that Fisher hasnt seen this and re released it as I honestly think it would be a huge hit and do better in the charts than the original, which was already a banger! We know what you can do as an artist. Your own songs are fire. I love them. Make more! From a fan!
This is the most fun out of his raps. Especially when people listen to The Hunger and are like "ok.. yeah, he can rap..." like.... nah, you don't understand, check this other song... and there is no fluff.
He's just a freaking master of his crafts, plural.

Great reaction. I have a new appreciation for the song!!
I haven't really heard any reactors talk about the line "I'm the Godzilla of the come up" and I'm curious if I'm the only one that feels that he might be shouting out Eminem's "Godzilla" since we know Em is one of his influences? Maybe I'm the only one?

You know bars and bring great commentary plus a fun delivery.
I would like to see you react to Ren rapping a bit differently.
Humble or Ocean.
Both are duets with Eden Nash.
Curious what you will think of them.
These are my favorites
@@Asperibra They have the perfect blend of vocals and rap.
Super curious what he is going to think of both of them.
Loooooove both these tracks, but I’d say Ocean gets more air play. Probably because I have it in the CD in the car ❤
".....very sonically pleasing" 🤣🤣best f@#$ing line I ever heard.... Love it ❤️❤️🤣🤣
SO excited to watch your reaction and check out your new song! The sample you shared sounds AMAZING!
Crypt… u might be a rockin roller that shit was tough
Hold on, fire, life is funny.
Live videos are gonna be a whole other list to get through.
Love this!!!!❤ Great reaction😊

Great reaction. I checked out your tracks also.. f@#$ing awesome. Are you indi?? Indies are shaking the tree big time.. best wishes mate!
Chalk outlines. We need that reaction
I don’t know what to type anymore. I keep just saying REN is amazing 😂
That song you did from falling in reverse was an amazing job my guy!!!!! You nailed it
Finally!! One of his best in my opinion
AWESOME! Love this track! Please do Genesis and Money Game 1&2. One has more symbolism to decipher and 2 is straight fire.
Love your choices and this one is so brilliant. Maybe time for Chalk Outlines Live with Chinchilla!!! ( loved the clip of your vocals )
Dude love your song too
To me he makes songs that you can't get bored during it
Thank you for my time!
FABULOUS REACTION! 🤗
Yo I expected you to kill the spitting in “Watch the world burn” but your singing & growls were the most impressive. You have a great voice. Would love to hear you with a metal band, but I’m an old fart from the Nu Metal era. 🤘🏻
I know that Ren has done a song called Chalk Outlines. It follows more on the melotic side, but it's impressive regardless to still react to it
Great explanation about how he adds lots of little flare to the song, it's not just one thing, it's a lot of little things.

Crypt, killin it in the rap game. Loved that intro bro.
That "Losing it" is from the group called Fisher I think. The song is called what else but....."Losing it"
You wanted to know how much of the production ren does....im pretty sure he does it all. LOL the guys a genius. And hes has such crappy health at the moment. Ren & Sam Tompkins - Blind Eyed (live)
Ren "what you want"

Great reaction bro once again

Still waiting on the Power reaction my guy.
The cover was dope, would like to hear some more similar to that style.
Yes it is Tom Cruise in The Last Samurai. Great movie.
Oooh yeah been waiting for this one!
DAYam, son. you can completely and totally rap! bravo!
Don't push yourself for your "upload streak" my man. Put yourself first king
Another great reaction my guy react to domino’s or chalk outlines I think you need to do some deep emotional tracks. 2 other good remakes are bitter sweet sympathy and right here right now
Ren is a energy vibe
