Always love jazz trio stuff and came across this. I grew up in So Cal and lived in Irvine for many years. Some great jazz venues. Reading comments apparently the bass player has passed on? So sorry he looks young here. What happened?

@@DanDelaneyPiano I was looking for my brother Jim when I came across you all my dad's family all the Delaney boys were piano players my grandfather played all day in cinemas and tea rooms then night times in pubs and nightclubs
My dad had his own pub and nightclub and mum had her own pub The tally ho Kentish town London
The nightclub was the mandrake in meard street so ho
Mum sang it was amazing growing up with live music all day and half the night ... and real music not the crap they pump out now lol

Mum brought home a pianist who was down on his luck she helped him cut some albums and he lived with us for five years before emigrating to Australia you should have a listen to John Gill he used to busk in Perth mall they didn't know how lucky they were those shoppers 😂
