  • Tomahawk Steak with Roasted Garlic is the BEST Steak I have ever made to date on the channel.I coked the tomahawk Steak on the PK Grill. The PK Grill may be the best steak cooker on the market. It was a thick cut 3 inch Tomahawk Steak that I reversed seared to Perfect Medium Rare. It was Bumper to Bumper pink with a garlic butter Crust. Then I took the roasted Garlic and put a little on each bite. It was without a doubt the best thing I have made so far on the GQue BBQ Channel.
Tomahawk Steaks are going to be overpriced if you buy them in a steak house. My recommendation is to source a tomahawk Steak from a local butter shop and make at home using the 2 zone cooking method I show in the video. Make a Garlic BBQ butter and baste it as it cooks to develop a flavorful crust. Serve with your favorite Red Wine and your all set. This was the best steak I have ever made.
The perfect pairing for the steak is a grilled Lobster tail to see that video recipe click here: • Grilled Lobster Tail R...

Great idea to use a muffin tin for the roasted garlic. Will do that in the future.

Awesome cook. I like to dry brine mine overnight then use a Montreal style steak seasoning. Before searing I paint it with bacon grease. I'll have to try some roasted garlic with it next time. Also I just laugh when people complain I'm paying for the bone, I just remind them it's my money, lol.

Doing 4 of these puppies tomorrow night just down the road from you in Arvada….. I’ll let you know how it goes! Seasoning wise? I like a mix of salt, pepper, coffee, minced garlic & onion, coriander, fennel, sugar, rosemary, time and lemon peel.

Depends on what it is - I had got these steaks from a restaurant supplier - I recommend Costco to folks but Costco wouldn’t have these

I like to pair my Tomahawk with more Tomahawk. Of course you have to share, so I fill the remaining hole in my belly with red wine. Then a rum and coke to wash it all down :) Great cook.😀🍻

Recipe looks tasty! But if you held the tape straight, that steak would be more like a “whopping 2.5 inches thick!” Gimme a break.

The Tomahawk is a rare cut here in Oz' - It can be ordered, but it isn't just sitting on the butcher's shelf..
