Beautiful, great job!!
Agreed, so satisfying 😌😍 And you are such a sweety bear 🐻 ❤ I've been watching your videos for a while and am always comforted and encouraged about what I can do.. I'm claiming you as my Plant Tia, mwah 😘
I can't wait till I tell my plants get to that Heights and statutes beautiful your red Emeril is absolutely gorgeous
Should have went with a bigger pot hun I I think you need something deeper in a little bit bigger cuz that's going to take over no time if that grows anything like my philodendrons and probably even yours that part will be too small and no time although I think it already is I know they say not to pot too big but there's some plans you kind of have to go up a little more otherwise you're not going to have room for them to grow in or to put your pull up which you honestly should do before you do all the rest cuz you might be able to get it in that hole maybe good luck
Great job it does look good I'm glad your husband was able to help you cuz that's definitely a two-person job I know there are times I wish I had a second pair of hands when I'm transplanting or playing something big is so much easier
Thanks
Wow this is incredible haha you had a lot of patience 😁🌿 I am researching different DIY moss poles and this one seems to need less supplies which I like haha but definitely need a helper for this one 😆 Great job! The plant looks beautiful and tall 🌿 thanks for sharing!
A very underrated plant! I take care of a big one at a public aquarium that's like 20 feet long. When they get big enough they start sprouting additional vines from the point where the vine emerges from the soil.
I so 💚 your content and all your videos! You always stick to the subject of your channel name and I appreciate that 💚
Thanks, sorry for late reply somehow I missed your seeing your comment.💚👋
I can relate, mine is over 15 ft tall and growing in the house. I know I’m going to have to chop Him down this summer. Luv your videos, You did a fabulous job!
Que ermosa presiosa chula y bonita planta yo quiero una 😍😍😍😍
I’m literally in the same boat as you girl! Thank you for posting this video because I need to make a moss pole for mine. She currently has a wooden stake too and she’s so long
First one! Yay 😛😍
Your red emerald looks healthy. And thanks I got an idea from your video. I'll put my 2 red emerald in 1 pot one of these days. =)
I like your idea and how you tell everything, I am beggner which indoor plants I have to keep because kansas is also cold and which soil I have to keep.I have zz plant,Erica palm, pink sygonium plant, snake plant, pathos, fiddle leaf and when I see your red philodendron I love it ,I order for it
What!!! I can't wait any longer for dinner! LOL
What a magnificent plant!
I have a question. You pointed out the red veining on the underside of the leaves. I am wondering if a young plant’s leaves do that. I bought a young one recently and I looked and there isn’t the red veining.
Also, are the young leaves on mine are a reddish color. I didn’t notice any leaves like that on yours.
Thanks for the interesting video!
Hii from Bali , indonesia
Hi there! Thank you for this video. I love red emeralds! Will you please tell me what that trailing plant is on your fireplace mantel? It's also gorgeous.
Hey! That’s a Hoya Krincle 8!
@@plantheartbeats thank you!
I would have cut it back to the last larger leaves. but that is amazingly ginormous!!!!
I love your Philodendron, I got one that I think is a Red Emerald, the guy who sold it to me wasn't sure about what what type it is, but I'm pretty sure is a Red Emerald, I am wondering how old is yours, because is so full, mine is from 1944 I am expecting mine gets fuller with the right care.
Oh wow! I have no idea how old mine is when I bought it it already was about 4 feet tall! That’s so cool that yours is from 1944!
I think you should have gotten a much bigger and higher pot...
Maybe so..might have to repot at the end of this summer! 😬😀
My suggestion is trim the roots an trim off some too of the plant to grow more keep cutting bit back. It willbeoj
My fiddle leaf is ok,all the leaves brown but new comming are doing ok,think out of danger, first I scared but
Do you think it would work to overlap another piece of wood for more height and use enough screws to stabilize it with the original piece? I need to give my philo more grow room but prefer a simpler process.
I noticed that it’s not holding good enough the plant
I believe you are omitting something important.
So, you made a moss pole with moss.
However, most commercial moss poles are not made with moss but with coconut fibres.
The difference between moss and coconut fibres is like night and day: moss is water-retentive, coconut is not.
Had the moss reached the soil, your moss pole would act like a self-watering pole, sucking up water from the soil and keeping the moss moist. This would benefit the plant but also attract algae.
Because the moss does not reach the soil, your real-moss pole acts the same way as a coconut pole - just something dry the plant can grab.
Interesting point. I actually might try adding more moss to it so it can reach the soil and be self watering. 💚
I’m worn out just watching this video, but it’s got to be done
Thanks for your feedback! Appreciate it! 💚💚💚
Hey! How do you clean the leafs of your plants?
Hi! I clean them with a soft towel dipped in water with a few drops of coconut oil.
Hey! Thanks for your advice! I‘ll try it out! 🙃
The person who disliked is just jealous
Lol! Thanks!😂
Good morning.i also have red emerald sa like your bigger than me.i have 2 pot total of 4 philos wat potting mix are u using.
Hi! I added about 40 percent of perlite to a basic mix they sell at my local nursery.
carolyn palmer Is the red emerald same as red diamond?
I don’t think so. Sorry for late reply somehow I missed your seeing your comment.💚👋
I was sweating just watching u! How do u wet the pole without getting the leaves very wet? Thank u
Hey! Lol! 😅...That I know off philodendron are ok with getting the leaves wet...you can alway use that opportunity to dry the leaves after with a soft towel and that ends up cleaning your leaves from dust which is always good anyway. But I most likely will spray the moss pole with a water bottle since it’s what will be the most convenient to not wet my floors! 😂
@@plantheartbeats T/u for replying, I was just watching ur albo monsters find! Wow. Ur leaves are always clean but not greasy, what do you clean them with? Neem oil? Water? Dawn?
you really needed a higher, bigger pot
I know I've seen sheets of moss..
I will check on that! Thanks for the tip!! 💚💚💚
My Erubecens died
Oh noooo, what happened?
