Putting your books in zip lock bags is so smart! Last year I traveled in the middle of a tropical storm and just hope and prayed nothing was damaged. I’ll be using this thanks!
It really was fun. I definitely got to see everyone I wanted to because of the kindness of others. I really hope that was everyone’s experience because I had a good time.
It really can be. I think staying informed on the FB groups and planning ahead helps ( I’ll definitely be on top of preordering books going forward), but ultimately I think I’ve had so much fun at each of them because I’ve been so excited to see friends and turn it into an entire trip. That way, no matter how crazy or disorganized, or whatever drama unfolds with how the event is run, I’m making the best of the experience.
I also really have enjoyed the smaller signings. That’s how I started going, and I think the bright spot at these events are panels for me. I really enjoying hearing authors talk about their work. I do think there is the right bookish event out there for everyone.
Oh that will definitely be ideal. That way you won’t have to worry about sending or traveling with books. Two days is good too. Since the itinerary is spaced out, then the stress of of seeing all of the authors may go down. That should be nice. Especially if they have panels too.
This looked like so much fun. That line was crazy though is it normally like that? I feel bad for the authors that they had to sit in the cold all day. Can you link your other friends you hung out with and showed in your video booktube channels? If it's not too much trouble, I would love to check out their channels =)

And you said it was cold. That sounds better than the room they had for LoveNSeattle lastyear. That room was so hot. Wondering if that is why Meghan Quinn developed a migraine. They put out standing fans in the last hour. But definitely to late for sure😢

So happy that the signing i am doing next year BB4E is here in Vancouver and 3 days (2 signing days). Since i have a ton of of books to get signed 😮.
