My Favorite Album from AA is "From Death to Destiny" 🙌
self titled is amazing. alone in a room is probably up there with my favorite songs of all time, and the rest of the album is overall very good
Reckless & Relentless is borderline perfection to me, every single song is a banger and it’s so FILTHY! I love it.
Goated album every song is close to a 10 in terms of classic metalcore with poppy hooking choruses
This album changed me. It will always be one of my greatest of all time. When it released, how it released, how old I was. Insane
facts, it's their most solid album imo not a bad song on it
And from death to destiny
My favorite is honestly The Black. It's so different. And I like it better
It was an attempt copy and paste of R&R but I respect it
I also liked the black also, I actually liked Dennis’s voice and screams.
@@jayreaper7486 not really. one part of we’ll be ok sounded like to the stage and thats about it.
So many bangers on the black
I saw an interview with Ben Bruce where he said that there are heavier songs on the album, and that the album has a lot more heavier tracks than it does softer tracks. We will have to see when the album drops, but that got me hyped up
this aged well.
@@Lilith_Reaverthey baited us
@@jeux2322 very much so.
@Lilith_Reaver they absolutely did 😭😭
you're not alone, bogdan! my favorite is the self-titled too, rise up always get me hooked
I tried to hate it cause its not as heavy as they made it seem, but i couldnt. It slaps so hard. Especially that last chorus
who tf tries to hate something?? dafuq..this is what is wrong with the scene haha.. at least you admit that you like it
Their album from 2017, called asking alexandria is my favorite currently, but their album 2022, the black, had a couple of awesome songs in it that i love.
Self Titled hits so hard, massive album, my favorite too 🤘
The black came out in 2016
Their self titled is easily my favorite by them so you’re not alone there Bogdan
I definitely like it but it’s not my favorite album of theirs
From Death to Destiny hits so good!
Not as heavy as they implied but its still a banger
this is heavy for their fanbase they've created over the years can't blame them for using the word heavy.
People need to accept that they aren’t going to be HEAVY HEAVY again. I don’t get why people expect that. He can’t do those heavy heavy vocals anymore. This is heavy for him now. This is better than the older stuff.
From death to destiny is a banger of an album
Reckless and Relentless is their best album by a mile.
Stand Up and Scream all day every day for me. One of the first Metalcore albums I listened to along with All That Remains.
My fav albums are Reckless & Relentless and Self Titled, both masterpieces 🔥🤘
My favourite is Reckless and Relentless ❤️❤️
favourite Asking Alexadria album is The Black
same here . The only flaw it has is denis stoff ;D
Awesome album
@@lost_fictionHey don't dis Denis, he's an awesome singer
@@hunterivey but a kinda scummy person haha
@@hunterivey He could be the best singer in the world and I’ll still advocate for his hate. Fuck Denis
My AA ranking would be
1. Self Titled
2. Where do we go from here?
3. From Death To Destiny
4. Reckless & Relentless
5. See Whats on the Inside
6. Stand Up and Scream
7. Like a House on Fire
8. The Black
Reckless & Relentless, I love it
Im going to be more controversial with this but the Black is ky favorite Asking Alexandria album lol
1. Self titled
2. From death to destiny
3. Like a house on fire
4. See whats on the inside
5. Reckless and relentless
6. Stand up and scream
7. The Black
My fav is Reckless and Relentless, followed by the Self-Titled, then The Black, then Stand Up and Scream, then From Death To Destiny and finally See What's On The Inside. I do like 2 songs or smth from LAHOF, though.
And wasn't that impressed with this song, sadly. The newer songs just seem to lack smth or smth of a soul like the Self-Titled did, imo :( But curious to see what's to come and I liked some songs of their latest album for sure.
Let's go!!! Self Titled Supremacy!
My favourite is the black, literally not ONE miss on there
Agreed, every song is awesome
Nah dude you're spot on, the self titled is insanely underrated. easily one of my favs. I wish they'd spice up their new songs but we'll see how it goes. this song was true mid
Finally people who give some love to Self Titled, my favorite too 🤘
i think this song is pretty dope to be honest..... its pretty good it shows his range perfectly
Best AA album Reckless & Relentless
my top AA albums are:
1. reckless and relentless
2. self titled
3. from death to destiny
4. stand up and scream
5. see whats on the inside
6. like a house on fire (aka trash)
See what’s on the inside is better than like a house on fire
@@rgi4140 just realized my mistake now lol lemme correct
Reckless & Relentless and The Black also the Self Titled
there self titled album and see what's on the inside
I love the self-titled but I didn’t click with LAHOF or SWOTI at all. This is a step in the right direction for my personal taste but it’s still not sounding very cohesive or at the same level as their material pre-2020
IMO The Black is their masterpiece hands down
Very cool song,
I wish more people checked the last album out more, it's really good actually 😅
Especially Things Could Be Different
some people really need to stop having sentiments & biases towards the band by saying everything not heavy by them is bad, like it's been 10 years since they put out a perfect metalcore album and for me 10 years is a fucking long time for them to evolve their sound slowly to get to where they are now. been a fan since 2011 & honestly, i've loved almost everything they've done so far with the black being an exception
This song is a banger. Love this AA sound
Stand Up And Scream is so iconic, this is my favourite with Reckless and Relentless
Stand Up and Scream is is chief
Why people hating this song like im not saying you are but god damn just cause they are a specific genre of metal does not mean they cant make other stuff, i loved this song cause theres some emotional outlet to it and i was able to tell cause it impacted that part of me. Amazing song in my opinion
9/10
imma do what i did with a house on fire, imma wait til their other singles to release til I judge the album
It is
Reckless & relentless. Not even a debate
But did it have the Toyota vibe?
the black is the best, the only right answer here
Reckless and Relentless by far. Haven’t been the same since. The Black was good though.
The Black most beautiful AA album, hands down
See whats on the inside and Stand up and scream
The black is the best album
Would like to know your thoughts on the new dual release from I See Stars after a 7 year hiatus
Three cheers for Butt Rock!!!!
From Death To Destiny is still the best for me.
Fav albums definitely See what’s on the inside next to Like a House on Fire or the Self-titled, tough to decide.
Don’t like any of their older stuff that much anymore
I don't know what's worse, this or new A7X. I'm kidding, it's not horrible, but it's.. um, generic? Nothing tops AA's first album for me, Stand Up and Scream baby) But yeah, going back to this track.. ain't anyone believing in you after this AA. XD
I love all of Asking's albums, but my personal fav is From Death to Destiny.
was working out to that album just last night lol
Didn’t their older albums go gold? Or plat? And none of their new shit? That says a lot right there 🤷🏻♂️
Roller coaster analogy for the breakdown- I like the mellow little dip before the plunge
Nothing beats still screaming, but probably because we were kids. The rest is butt rock in drop C.
my favorite album is "Stand Up and Scream" but i like whatever they put out
Self Titled is my favorite of theirs, and See Whats in the Inside is a close second. Also really like From Death to Destiny
I had the same reaction to the last chorus lol
Unpopular opinion I think See What's on the Inside fucks
Also this song fucks too
I very much agree
@Lukas S. See this is a take I 100% agree with
reckless & relentless. I remember straightening my hair while listening to this album haha
The black
My favorite AA album has to be From Death To Destiny, and this one song carries a similar vibe to me so I've been enjoying it a lot.
I hated death to destiny when It first released. Then as their music became softer I circled back to it and loved it! It’s my favorite by far.
@@GodsKingdomFirst I wasn't sold on it either when it came out, but it certainly aged like a fine wine and I still believe it strikes the best balance between heaviness and melody in their whole catalog.
Agreed
For me, I do say Stand Up and Scream is my fav album but I also loved Reckless and Relentless, From Death to Destiny, and even The Black. Once they go to their self titled album, that’s when I started to fall off a little bit this song is an absolute banger
You're in a good mood today. Cool to see ya, comrad
Selft titled and reckless relentless
the black, reckless, FDTD are all tied lol😅😂
6.4/10
My favs? AA5, R&R, SUAS.
I'm between the Self titled album or "From Death To Destiny" definitely.
Somewhere between self-titled and From Death To Destiny. Unpopular opinion, but I prefer when their album has both radio tracks and heavy tracks on it. AA5 is the best example of it - you got a radio track like Alone in a Room and then you got Eve.
As for Dark Void? It's a banger. If this is the direction the next album goes into, I'm happy with it.
The Black is probably my favorite
Hell yeah
My favourite is also self titled, but I do wish the production on it was beefier.
Feel like its a super unpopular opinion but See What's On The Inside is my favourite album of theirs. It just hits most of the right spots for me and I feel as though it succeeds on what it set out to do. I don't care if it isn't heavy because I don't judge a band on the genre they make just of the quality of the music. Besides, I much prefer modern metalcore like Wage War when it comes to heavier songs, not a big fan of old metalcore.
the title track is one of their best works too imo
The Black is my favorite, I love Denis Stoff's singing and also the song The Black is awesome
Unpopular opinion here. "From Death To Destiny" is their best album. And "See What's On The Inside" is their second best. While "Stand Up And Scream" and "Reckless & Relentless" are good albums, the lyrics are very corny and immature for the most part. Not everything has to be super heavy and the vocal style form the two first albums is outdated.
It’s just AA tuned lower with a few screams.
So I discovered asking 2010ish SUAS amazing but Reckless&relentless is prob my favorite metal core album. As a whole from death to destiny was amazing. The past 3 eh. Don’t mind the song I get there all getting older and have diffrent interests but we need a tiny bit more scream and a breakdown or two.
Mine its definitely Like a House on Fire
Honestly the last 3 albums top my list, im loving the new sound so far!
LOL people hate this because of the buttrock chorus, right?
ok sorry if this comes off as mean but i think most of the metalcore community needs to stop flocking around what influencers believe. this is a very solid song, but they watch someone like Nik Nocturnal shits on it and boom they hate it sll of a sudden. they need to grow up and formulate their own opinions lol
for the record, I don't watch my colleagues before my reviews for that very reason. I thought the song was decent which is what I said in the video.
@@bogdanhxc yeah, i could tell because you gave a completely unbiased opinion on it, i just meant the metalcore community as a whole
Dont do that. Stop making sweeping generalizations about people because they disagree with you as if you are the one who has the correct opinion, and they dont because of some perceived sheep mentality. Its entirely possible that members of his community do not like this song because they genuinely dont like it entirely independent of Niks views. Also, there are people in his channel reaction that seem to like it.... and there are some that just think its "okay". You paint his community with a broad brush, and attribute some ill intent as if they cant, or dont form their own opinions.
@@pixelhotdish no i mean i have seen people word their distain towards this sing the EXACT same as nik did. its clear people only shit on the song because of the marketing and nik
AA promised a “heavy song” and then they go and release this. I’m trying to hang on as a fan but their last album was garbage.
From Death to Destiny, my AOAT! (Self titled was great btw)
My favourite AA album is The Black but I love the self-titled album as well, so nothing wrong there.
Stand Up And Scream introduced me to Heavy music, so i have a soft spot when it comes to AA, love every album till their self titled and some singles, they’ve definitely changed a lot, but i like where they’re going with this single and I hope they continue this way
I mean obviously Like A House On Fire is the best album is that even a question?
Danny has just gone too country sounding with his voice. You can tell he wants to do more country rock sounding stuff
If they hadn’t hyped this up to be like rly heavy and shit I definitely would’ve enjoyed it more but they kept pushing it as like them going back to heavy when it was just self titled in Drop F.
Stand up and scream, reckless and relentless, from death to destiny, self titled, see what's on the inside 😅
self titled is their best work in my opinion, but i love their whole discography (except for their last two albuns, i enjoy like only 2 songs on each)
My favorite AA album is Stand Up And Scream personally.
Top 5 of my favorite albums of all time.
I agree with most that Reckless & Relentless is a BETTER album but SUAS has a huge place in my heart.
Their self-titled is probably my 4th or 5th favorite out of the 7.
Self-titled álbum is their BEST work
This is much better than the last 2 albums. Like A House On Fire or whatever it's called is so forgettable. See What's On the Inside is better but still has the same message. I'm so tired of hearing "the fans want this but we want this" from this band. At least Danny finally realizes that he's come too far to completely remove the heavier side from the band without crashing and burning.
The self titled is their best album
In my opinion the black... miles ahead of anything they've done
Reckless and relentless and stand up and scream are tied for me personally.
Best song they've released in years tbh. That breakdown is spicy through Spotify with actual encoding & compression (thanks YT). DEFINITELY a step up for AA recently imo. New album is gonna be interesting!
I cant get into this band at all man, Danny is talented but at the same time i hate the tamber in his voice so much lol
Yes. Yes it’s bad.
