Moorning I'm from Brazil and yeah I believe I'm quite someone who can take some advices sometimes! As an example I'm nineteen and I'm learning how to drive a motorcyle so my stepfather is always giving advices and scolding me when it's necessary. Some people might think that this is too annoying but I do believe that this is important especially once that the read may be a dangerous place sometimes!

This is completely a matter of mentality. To me, this is a story of people having fixed mindsets and growth mindsets. Or you may say our world is full of doers and naysayers. The doers only listen to their hearts and they have a particular goal. They never ever pay attention to a person saying you are not gonna make it. They tend to influence others and they are the ultimate winners. And the fixed mindset people just become observers and they allow the whole world to stop them. They need approval and support from others and they can not change the world.

It is very elegant of you to explain all of this to people who have felt offended. But you’re not the only one in the USA to do it this way, I remember Barack Obama’s statements where he did the same, and many others.☺️ Plus, you already explained the reason why you shorten this really long name.😅
I’m surprised by the nasty words people use to express their disagreement and react, sometimes. Congratulations on your fairplay! 😍

I have trouble finding what I can relate to, in order to know about my mistakes so I can work on them. Because I don't speak any of the international languages everyone mentions on UA-cam. I mean for instance you help tell english learners from China, India, korea and elsewhere, what to focus on and whatever to improve their ability of speaking English more fluently. But personally I can't relate to any of the advice because my language is just so far different.

I think there is such thing as American exceptionalism and it is necessary to be the leader of “free world” and set an example for other democracies. You can see that exceptionalism in every aspect of American life, including the language. American politicians have played a lot into American exceptionalism, patriotism, the idea of America as a super power, the greatest army of all time, the first and greatest democracy so on and so forth to energize the society, to keep Americans moving in this direction, to instill confidence into them as “the greatest people”, therefore the greatest country in the world. I do not think as an American, as an insider, you can understand how other people see you. People may get offended and triggered by the notion of exceptionalism that is so normal and natural to you. They may think that you are looking down on them and I think it is because your country was founded or designed to set an example, to be looked up to by others.

Country names have nicknames and countries whose name is two, three, or more names long is also referred to by one or fewer names. 'America' is part of the entire name, so, aside from the fact that it sounds fluent, it is part of the name. Also, no country in the Americas, as far as I know, ever cared to be called by the name 'America' (if there is any country with America in its name, which I think there isn't), nor has any citizen of the Americas except Americans ever cared to be called American.
