I just love watching Sam forget to be a voice teacher and completely fangirl. I just watched this performance for the first time last week so I'm so glad you did this. Confessions is one of my favorites. That man is still so talented.
Usher blew me away with this performance. He made the room his, you know? There was no awkwardness, no one there woulda felt out of place, just as he felt comfortable. And then, he starts singing, and it's like the room stopped existing.
YES!!!! it was so great hearing your analysis of this, such an amazing performance from king Usher 🥹 he still sounds the same 20 years later it’s insane
To me you are the best voice teacher on UA-cam, because your way of explaining the biological side is so easy to understand, you are so good in explaining techniques and you are so passionate about it, you made me become from singing only to music that is loud enough even I could not hear me to developing the knowledge how to practice and improve. If I wasn’t always completely broke I’d totally take lessons with you, but I guess one lesson every other month is more of a waste of your time so I’m happy and grateful for your free lessons via your analytics.
Ok 2nd time watching thus guy 1st with Monica and I enjoy how when he hears something he smile and lights up, he gets excited to explain what he hears or how to maybe acheive it but only if it's within your range! 😁👍😍
This is great. Usher brings back so many memories from my youth. I know it's not your usual thing to do a country artist, but I'd love for you to check out Tyler Childers. His voice is really unique!
I love when the humor comes in unexpectedly, you always get an actual laugh out of me with the seamless jokes. And yes, we always want to be like Usher 😆
Thank you for delivering such wonderful content 🙏🏻 I was a singer in my high school days and I really wish I could have had access to coaching like yours after I graduated 😊 Maybe I should start singing again 🤔
This reminds me a little bit of some of Hamilton. Very speech like in some instances, just floating over one or two notes while conveying a story through heavy lyricism. To add to the story telling bit Sam was talking about.
Can you react to Demi Lovato live performance of her new single “SUBSTANCE” in Jimmy Kimmel? Demi killed it omg. also it’s been so long since you have reacted to her in this channel
Every type of popular music these days is heavily influenced by R&B and other genres founded by black people. I'd still probably put R&B as a subset of pop. Unfortunately "pop" is the easiest way for me to differentiate from western classical music most of the time.
i love all of your reactions and your input!! would you please please react to Billie Eilish covering "Fever" by Peggy Lee at the Hollywood Bowl?? 💕💕 love you!
I'm not really interested in Usher. But your video is very interesting. That's why I watch them all, no matter who the artist is. There is always something to enjoy and learn. 💗

He is entertaining and a great singer. And easy on the eyes👀👀. Really enjoyed this if you cant tell 😂
Hahahaha right?
Also a great dancer and actor 💕🤣! The guy is a sensory delight’

his instantly recognizable voice 😭 thanks for the good vibes this Monday morning sammo

This is one of your best videos. Especially the last part, when you talk about storytelling.
Thanks Liz!
he has such a clear voice.
Soooo clear. Pristine.

"A baby... puppy... a baby puppy" Not sure why but that made me laugh out loud lol. Appreciate your reactions & knowledge so much!
I just pictured Chris Pratt saying it and it made me laugh harder.
Ooohh yay! This song is so nostalgic, now I gotta go watch the rest of the usher tiny desk concert!

Need this upbeat video today. Thanks for always educating and having the appreciation you do for different style voices and music.
I love when the humor comes in unexpectedly, you always get an actual laugh out of me with the seamless jokes. And yes, we always want to be like Usher 😆
I was instantly transported back to 2003/2004 riding around campus, doing dubious stuff, listening to this song 😆 thanks Sam
Music is time travel
Not dubious! I remember playing in the band having a grand ole time!
Of course I want to be like Usher 👍🏻 ♥️
Everybody wants to be like Usher. Even Usher wants to be like Usher.
Yes Usher is amazing and so are you Sam 😊
Thank you for delivering such wonderful content 🙏🏻 I was a singer in my high school days and I really wish I could have had access to coaching like yours after I graduated 😊 Maybe I should start singing again 🤔
You should!!
Same. Was in a choir and also went overseas. I sing now and then but would like to love to get vocal lessons to bring that back
King of RnB 👑
Yes, we all want to be like Usher!!!
I would love to hear your reaction to superstar too ❤ so good!
Love your analysis! Yes we all want to be like Usher lol 😆
No thanks, I love my STD free life
this was a great video, Sam! I get so excited along with you when you get hype over hearing someone sing so beautifully!
React to his Superstar performance, it’s sooo good
This reminds me a little bit of some of Hamilton. Very speech like in some instances, just floating over one or two notes while conveying a story through heavy lyricism. To add to the story telling bit Sam was talking about.
Yes absolutely!
Thank you Sam! Usher is a great singer. Thank you for breaking down the technique!
Thanks for watching, Kimberly!
Major nostalgia. This and Nelly’s Shake Ya Tailfeather very much encapsulate 2003-2004 for me 😆
Omg! Not the Nelly song 😂 I forgot all about that song and I grew up on it!! I’m gonna go watch the video rn 🤣
I love it! This was his 6th number one out of 9 on the Billboard Hot 100. I wonder if he owns all his masters?
Thanks for another amazing video!!!
remarkable review Sir
Another great video!!! 👏👏
Great perspective
Please, please do Jasmine Sulivan's Tiny Desk, she's AMAZING!
Please react to live climax by usher. That's a hard song to sing!
Yeah it is
will you check out arabic pop singer Mohammad Abdu live stages? his voice is top tier but i wonder what an analysis for him would be like
I love this lesson
Love this one!
Nice one Sam!
Love to see you react to Lawrence “Don’t Lose Sight (acoustic)”
ua-cam.com/video/C01nBm6vV5c/v-deo.html
You should do chloe and halle's tiny desk
It's been a while since you analyzed aurora singing, it would be cool if you analyzed her singing Runaway at Nobel
love dis. hi. hope u are well.
man I wish this dude's guitarist knew more than 2 notes
This song in particular lives on the same basic riff on the album, the guitarist actually goes off on one of the earlier songs on this set
I can totally see Usher singing in Hamilton 😂
Can you react and analyze Leann rimes Blue
Hy Sam!
Pls consider reacting to Hozier - sweet thing
Would you say that singing is often just acting on pitch?
Yes
I don't generally care about Usher but you managed to make me care about Usher for 15-ish minutes
Big W

Isn’t pop a subset of r&b

React to hit video by seventeen
i love all of your reactions and your input!! would you please please react to Billie Eilish covering "Fever" by Peggy Lee at the Hollywood Bowl?? 💕💕 love you!
okay hold on, can we talk about how you think rnb is a subset of pop?
Pop being non classical music
Popular music
I'm not really interested in Usher. But your video is very interesting. That's why I watch them all, no matter who the artist is. There is always something to enjoy and learn. 💗
