DRIPPIN❤ I got 1st in Dance at a major Wacipi in 1975. At the time the finall 3 did a dance off, and whiever got 1st in Oitfit Workmanship was awarded the Final 1st Place, i got 3rd in Outfit & 1st in Dance but the guy who got 2nd in Dance & 1st in Outfit was awarded 1st placed & since 1st in Dance was awarded 2nd Place Final. This was out of a field of almost 80 Famcy Dancers Glad to see Fancy goingg strong, awhile back so many went to Grass & Prairie Chicken & Fancy Dancer numbers dropped but is coming back again! Tempo is competive, but when someone has to have Bruce Lee speed to stay on drum without a lot of spinning. It's not Fancy anymore, it's whirling dervish! Fancy means Fancy Footwork of style and ability, it's not hard to do a bunch of spinning, slow down enough to allow Fancy footwork and body moves
