I was watching another comparison video where the 7a started pulling ahead performance wise was thermal throttling and power consumption in an endurance test. With holidays fast approaching I thunk 7a might be a super sleeper if the sales are on point

That's a good deal. I had a 6a and loved it. The cameras take amazing photos and videos. I upgraded to an 23 Ultra but I kinda regret doing that.

I thought the 7a would beat the 6a more than it did. But I had a 6a and thought it was a great phone. I'd say go for the 6a because it still will get 2 more android updates and 3 years of security updates.
The Tensor 2 is a weak disappointment. The 7A is a slightly better phone, but not worth upgrading. That camera bar on the 7A is so ugly! It looks like it's put together like Frankenstein's monster! The 6A camera bar looks pretty nice. I know that's a matter of my taste, but I think the 7A is so ugly that it could sway me to go with the 6A. Plus you can get the 6A from Metro for free, I believe.
I have the 6A in the RAM management sucks I can't wait to trade it in for a 7a
At least on my phone I can switch to a different app and then it reloads when I try to go back
