Yet another fabulous clear and concise video. Don't know why they couldn't leave the back pipe alone, it was a proper knuckle skinner when i fitted my V1.
Looks good but I’ll stick to my Eventuri. Carbon looks, makes plenty of noise and one of the better performers, oh and only bought it once. Nice informative video though. Induction kit installs are such a pain on the GR!
awesome video pal I flew through the install as I did with the mk1 after watching the first video. my airbox keeps popping out of the rubber mounts. any idea what would cause this
I just installed this in mine, getting them bolts off behind the pipes was so frustrating. I checked the turbo pressure osd screen and it's sits close to -1 unless I put my foot down then it goes to 1.5, is that the same as yours? Never checked it before, just wanna make sure i didn't mess something up
Yeah those bolts are infuriating. Yeah when off the throttle you will get negative pressure. Then full boost should be about 1.5 on the dash, mine has a tune so goes to 1.8.
@bradliam11 yeah I was worried about doing the exhaust, but managed it fine on the drive on one of my latest videos along with the seat lowering brace.
From MST the 2nd gen makes more power. I would have loved to do a back to back on the Tegiwa dyno, but mine is mapped and would throw off the potential results.
Another great install/review video. Love the cat too 👍👍
Thank you very much! Im trying to keep the content coming too!

Thank You! Yeah the engine bay is a tight fit and throw in some hands and fingers and it will take off some skin. But all part of the fun!
Now that looks awesome

Every intake has pros and cons and the Eventuri is a great intake with great build quality.
forgive me, if you've uprated from the MSTV1 to the MSTV2 you've spent almost as much as going for the Eventuri and still 10bhp down on performance?
I am lucky enough that I didn't have to pay full retail for both of these kits. Plus this is more of a how too video!
Not everyone is installing these for power
Looks good but i dont understand how that slot at the top of the inlet wont just suck in hot air from the engine bay?
The scoop goes to where the stock air box breathes through, plus when the car is in motion air will be forced into there!

Ive not had mine pop out of the mounts, ill have to double check it tomorrow!

@FaithlessEmoRacing Ok cool, good to know Its normal 👍 next challenge is fitting new exhaust once it arrives and seat lowering kit arrives tomorrow!

V2 looks like a much better design than V1
I Totally Agree
You lose some sound though
That’s correct.
Which one, V1 or V2 produces the greatest power increase? We need Tegiwa to do a comparison test.
