The AHSOKA Ending is Shockingly Bad

- Somehow Ahsoka returned and some are saying it’s the peak of all the Star Wars! Now that the dust has settled on the series, I’ll be breaking down the season finale and asking if this is true and whether or not Dave Filoni deserves the praise.
Let’s find out, I guess.
It's hilarious how Sabine just said "I thought you were dead" with a goofy smile and almost no inflection at all. It's weird because I've seen both Natasha Bordizzo and Rosario Dawson deliver convincing dialogue in other movies, but it seems they're all just directed to act cool and casual. It's feels like the peaceful jedi/stoic samurai archetype has overridden all of their personality, but they are still expected to deliver humorous lines. The series felt really bizarre. I tried to switch off my brain and just enjoy the visuals and imagine what could have been instead.
The ending wasn't that bad but it could have been better
I think my biggest problem was that the dialogue was often redundant and wasn’t responded to adequately in regard to what characters had done
A comment for the algorithm
The ending wasn't bad but we expected a lot
I didn‘t. Star Wars is dead for years.
A lot of this sounds like nitpicking and lack of paying attention while watching
@@carsonvolkers can you give me any examples of where I’m nitpicking or not paying attention? Just so I know how to improve
@@VeternovaYT well 1 you said sabines actions have no consequences, which isn’t true since they’re stranded in a whole new galaxy,
Said kanan finally got mentioned in episode 8 which also isn’t true since he was mentioned in episode 5
Saying they threw anakin in there just because they could is just neglecting the fact that his final lesson to ahsoka completely changed her outlook on things. In the beginning of the season she let fear control her decisions but in the later episodes she has a hopeful it’s not over til it’s over outlook on things.
Saying Sabine didn’t have a good enough reason to go get thrawn is the point, it may not be enough of a reason for you to risk it but it is for her, but that may be too nuanced for you
@@VeternovaYTalso not sure how Sabine didn’t have enough development with the force yet we see her struggle multiple times and took her a decade to even use once. Trying to compare it to Luke who’s a completely different character with different motivations, skill set and training is a lazy criticism
Ahsoka needs to address Sabine’s relationship with Ezra. Considering her desperation and her desire to find him, a romantic reveal would be more than enough to explain her actions, based on the gravity of them. Due to her part in bringing Thrawn back, this shouldn’t be something any decent person should walk away and she needs to face this, wheather the audience likes it or not.
A romantic relationship would definitely help. Most of all there needs to be consequences for her actions - she somehow manages to emerge from the season with nothing but a slap on the wrist. And even that is spun as a positive thing by the end.
Very disappointing. Sabine waits 10 years to find Ezra only to lose him again by she being stranded. Typical Filoni failure...
@@davidsmith3623 the irony is lost on Filoni lol
What's with the flashes of text? Rather annoying I can't go frame by frame on my TV or app while watching this. Brilliant idea to sucker people into multiple views.. actually shady is more like it.
