Have driven a number of times thru the Ouachita River basin from Acorn, AR to Heavener, OK. A friend in Heavener related how he'd experienced a brief panic, driving along there at night, meeting a train, seeing those lights that seem to be in the middle of the road. The way the road winds around paralleling the railroad, I could see how that could happen. Thanks for the video, brings back memories of some beautiful country.
Wow another fantastic production and we enjoyed watching once again. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend and hope you and your family had a great thanksgiving.(Steve)
Great video of all the great catches! Some of the locations were beautiful to get some great footage! Thanks again Bishop for sharing another great video with us along with your PRICELESS time and effort! Cheers from Laurel, Delaware USA.
On the KCS we were running everybody else’s trains a lot which is why you see KCS units all over the country because the KCS owes the other railroads engine hours.
I watch the SB 180 MMX through N, Missouri about daily..It seem to slowly but steadily keep getting longer and longer. Although I did see a couple short ones in February. The one I seen today April 6th had 55 container cars doubled up and 15 loaded autoracks.
Idk why the KCS crews don’t like running the 70MACe’s. I’ve had a handful of BN/BNSF MAC’s and MACe’s on coal trains; they are my absolute favorite locomotives to run. The MACe’s pull just as well as an ES44, the whisper cabs are quieter, and I’m one of the oddballs that likes the desktop set-up.
Like how we have the reputed shoe brand Woodlands in India, u cd hv a Deodorant Woodlands CN or something similar. They don't even realise the Woodland Brand is courtesy My Papa (Touch Wood).
Hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving! I apologize for one section of the narration being drowned by the train but it’s only for that one clip.
Absolutely amazing video! 🤩👍
Cut my teeth as a conductor and engineer on the Shreveport sub. Many memories and stories.

Really great video LRP! Nice to see the fall colors and the elevation that you don't see too much of down in Shreveport.

Awesome catches! The 181 also hauls JB Hunt traffic other than Schneider.
Happy holidays
Nice Video. I was down in the same area probably about a week before (judging on the leave changes) for the first time. Great times and great scenery.
Awesome horn at 25 minutes!
The echo at Page was unreal!

Average speed of a coal or grain load pulling to Stapp is 12mph. From Page to Rich Mountain is 17mph.
I always see the G390 and the I181

Ouachita is another word I wouldn't have the first idea how to pronounce. So these voiceovers are useful! 😁
Great catches out there. Just subscribe your channel.
me and a freind saw the same trains as you! we caught the intermodalin heavner and that BNSF Coal train just afew blocks away.
What is the grade at Big Creek S Curve?

I’ve heard mostly about how uncomfortable the ride in the cabs are along with several mechanical issues.
I live in central Arkansas. I've been wanting to get over there and do some railfanning
Not Peyton eating sh*t at 21:36 💀
What if I told you he was in prone position voluntarily for that…
It just occured to me that when Pa use to say Touch Wood he could b meaning Woody Wood Pecker.
auto rack facility is being built in wylie..so look for autorack trains in later 2024
