The old Meteorites used to have 25 grams including their holiday editions. So they lowered the amount a bit over the last few years while increasing the price multiple times

Hi Sofia, Both of you look beautiful!🙂 For me I will pass the eyeshadow because I have similar palettes and, for example, I like more Hazy Sensuality from Tom Ford or Ombres Petales from Hermes. Definitely I will try the Guerlain Meteorites no. 2 because I have a light skin tone. It’s nice that your mother is so open to makeup. I gave my mother the Nude Dip quad and she put so little on her eyelids because in her opinion the colours are too strong.🤣 She used to love makeup when she was young but now at 67 years old everything is too much. Hi Sofia, the ingredients of the new meteorites are completely different. You probably compared them to the last year LE meteorites in green tin but those were already refolmulated. The previous standard line (silver tins) had 25g of product and different inci. Do you have any old ones? How would you compare the amount of glitters they have? No one talks about glitter anymore... Loved this demo with your mum, thank you! Would also like to see how the aura glow palette looks next to majestic rose. Have a great day!
Hi good question. I didn't look at the ingredients of the green tin meteorites. I took a look at the ingredients list of the old meteorites across several retail sites and noticed that they were all the same. I don't keep any old packaging boxes so it's hard for me to find out if those have been updated
Hello Sofia. Love the meteorite from Guerlaine. I have six from previous years. I am very fair but believe me I use them all. The darkes one as contour. Others as blush. And the more I buff the more l like them. I have an old Guerlain brush that they put out some. Time ago. And definitely will get this new one if anything for the packaging. Love your mom. She is gorgeous. 😊😊
I picked up shade 03 and sadly I'm not happy with the new scent. I adored the original scent and am not fond at all of the new scent, you described it perfectly. It's like a deeper scent. I love the product itself, I must have seven different tins throughout the years. One other thing about the weight, the older tins had 25g of product and then they dropped to 22 this past year and now 20! I'm just so sad that they changed the fragrance. Btw, it looks gorgeous on your mom. It really does flatter mature skin.

I used the meteorites over 30 years ago 😱 and loved them. From the gorgeous scent to the delicate pastel colours and beautiful packaging they were fabulous! I may just pop them on my wish list for Santa this year, the pastel shade and being 30 odd years older since I last used them I may also get the new pearly whites for under my eyes just like your mum.😊 🤍🩷💛💜

I bought this eyeshadow recently but haven’t used it yet. I’m considering the Météorites in 00 to use as a brightener (I have most of the can I bought from Holiday 2023, so I can use these as well). I’m glad you demoed with your mom! I have hooded eyes and vey similar coloring to hers, and this video is so helpful to help me know how to apply eye makeup to make it look age-appropriate. I’m looking forward to more videos featuring your mom❤
you’re both lovely, and you can really see the difference with and without the meteorites. how does meteorites compare to the hourglass finishing powders? and does the scent linger throughout the day?
I would check Lexi Jong as well on this. She said she had to air out the powder trying to reduce the scent. She found it very strong but it does not seem to linger too long. To her the musky and amber notes were strong and completely overpowered the violet notes

Can anyone confirm if this formula still has glittery flecks? I used it years ago and it looked too sparkly and glittery, like what a clubber would use lol. That packaging is calling to ne but i don't want to look like a disco ball at my age.

I’m turning 53 on Wednesday and bought 3 of the meteorites and the eye shadow for myself for my birthday- I’m thrilled with it! I used the meteorites in high school in the 80’s and they are even better on my *mature ick😂skin. You both look beautiful- fantastic job!

Great review as always. The new Guerlain météorites smell sadly is too strong and musky causing a headache for me. I hope this is not a permanent scent for this product. I may have to stock up on the original before it’s no longer available. 😢
Beautiful! 😻 I picked up 2 of the new Meteorites when they dropped and love 💕 them. You don’t get as much product as you did back in the day, but I still 💗 and collect the LE Meteorites. 🖤 I also grabbed the lavender oil & balm. I’ll prob p/u the intense pink color, as well. ☺️. I can’t say they’re long lasting w/a lot of color payoff, but they’re fun for Spring 🌸.
Except for LE versions which I collect, I wore 02 for decades as my basic finishing powder. The new version is warmer. In fact, it is a bit too warm so I can only use it during the summer. I was thrilled when I learned that a new shade was being introduced. Personally, I wouldn’t use the puff on my skin because I think there is a sanitation issue. And, I can’t imagine putting it back on top of the pearls after being used. I much prefer using a brush because it can be cleaned so easily and it’s not going to be stored in the tin.
@@SofiaSeesBeauty I think people who are very fair but lean warm in tone won’t have a problem with the new 02. It’s those of us who are very fair but lean cool that definitely see the difference between the old and new 02 when applied.
I’d love to see a comparison of majestic rose and aura glow. I have majestic rose so would love to see if they’re different enough to warrant both in my collection
You just picked up the meteorites and the eyeshadow quad. I feel like I’m in between shade 2 and 3. I went with shade 2 so we’ll see in a week if it’s too light.

I used the meteorites over 30 years ago 😱 and loved them. From the gorgeous scent to the delicate pastel colours and beautiful packaging they were fabulous! I may just pop them on my wish list for Santa this year, the pastel shade and being 30 odd years older since I last used them I may also get the new pearly whites for under my eyes just like your mum.😊 🤍🩷💛💜

I bought this eyeshadow recently but haven’t used it yet. I’m considering the Météorites in 00 to use as a brightener (I have most of the can I bought from Holiday 2023, so I can use these as well). I’m glad you demoed with your mom! I have hooded eyes and vey similar coloring to hers, and this video is so helpful to help me know how to apply eye makeup to make it look age-appropriate. I’m looking forward to more videos featuring your mom❤

how does meteorites compare to the hourglass finishing powders? and does the scent linger throughout the day?
I would check Lexi Jong as well on this. She said she had to air out the powder trying to reduce the scent. She found it very strong but it does not seem to linger too long. To her the musky and amber notes were strong and completely overpowered the violet notes
We talk about the hourglass in the video 🙂 yes the scent lingers for an hour or two very subtly.
I disagree with that personally. The older ones have a much harsher violet scent and the vanilla in the new ones makes it much more mellow.

I love this video. I figured out why the new Guerlain Meteorites smelled so familiar. It smells like a lighter powdery woodsy interpretation of Samsara EDP!

Can anyone confirm if this formula still has glittery flecks? I used it years ago and it looked too sparkly and glittery, like what a clubber would use lol. That packaging is calling to ne but i don't want to look like a disco ball at my age.
Love this look on both you and your mom! The pink shades on the cheeks, eyes, & lips are so youthful, brightening, and very nice for Spring! I have to say the 04 as a blush is gorgeous!! Definitely am purchasing both the 02 and 04!! ❤

I love this and because of you I got shade number 4 an hour before the Sephora sale ended in Los Angeles, and then went to the Guerlain site and got the meteorites brush and limited edition palette!!!! What a genius way to use No. 4 and can’t wait to play with them and smell the new scent!!! I actually love the old scent but excited for something new and like you said, the meteorites are and experience and overall Guerlain is exquisite!!! BTW, your mom is so adorable!!!! 😘😘

The new meteorites fragrance is terrible. I miss the violet, it was much better, now it's too masculine. It's too musky. Yuck.

I picked up 2 of the new Meteorites when they dropped and love 💕 them. You don’t get as much product as you did back in the day, but I still 💗 and collect the LE Meteorites. 🖤
I also grabbed the lavender oil & balm. I’ll prob p/u the intense pink color, as well. ☺️. I can’t say they’re long lasting w/a lot of color payoff, but they’re fun for Spring 🌸.
Except for LE versions which I collect, I wore 02 for decades as my basic finishing powder. The new version is warmer. In fact, it is a bit too warm so I can only use it during the summer. I was thrilled when I learned that a new shade was being introduced. Personally, I wouldn’t use the puff on my skin because I think there is a sanitation issue. And, I can’t imagine putting it back on top of the pearls after being used. I much prefer using a brush because it can be cleaned so easily and it’s not going to be stored in the tin.
